After that, your representative will accompany you on the drive into the city. Day 1 is centered on arrival support and transfer logistics, giving you a straightforward start to your time in Kenya before the next stage of the trip.

Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli | First game drive beneath Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive to Amboseli National Park at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will arrive in time for lunch, with the journey marking the transition from the city to one of Kenya’s best-known wildlife areas.
In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across Amboseli’s open plains. The park is known for its large elephant herds, diverse wildlife, and clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro, giving you an introduction to the landscapes and wildlife experiences planned for the days ahead.

Day 3: Amboseli Full Safari Day | Morning and afternoon game drives
Begin with an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, when wildlife activity is at its peak and views of Mount Kilimanjaro are often at their clearest. After the drive, return for breakfast and some relaxation before the next outing.
Later, continue with a mid-morning or late afternoon game drive across the park’s open plains, moving through swamps, savannah, and acacia woodland. Amboseli is known for large elephant herds, along with lions, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, and varied birdlife. A picnic lunch may be arranged within the park to maximize game viewing.

Throughout the experience, you will take part in daily life and gain insight into the community’s relationship with land, livestock, and sustainability. The focus stays on meaningful participation and a closer understanding of how these elements shape everyday life in the conservancy.
For many Maasai communities, land and livestock are closely connected to daily life, identity, and long-standing systems of sustainability.

Day 5: Amboseli to Nairobi | Return drive and airport transfer
After breakfast, depart the Amboseli region and begin the drive back to Nairobi. This final day is focused on the overland return from the park area to the capital, following the trip’s planned route back from Amboseli.
On arrival in Nairobi, continue with your transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward travel arrangements. The day is arranged around the return journey and airport connection, bringing your Kenya trip to its close.
