Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi | Airport Welcome and City Transfer
Arrive in Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where a representative will warmly welcome you. This meeting marks the beginning of your journey and provides a clear transition from your airport arrival to the next stage of the day.
Once the welcome is complete, continue on the arranged transfer into Nairobi. The day follows a straightforward sequence: land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet the representative, and transfer onward before the safari program begins the following day.
The name Nairobi comes from the Maasai phrase “Enkare Nyrobi,” translated as “cool water.”

Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservation Safari | Highland Transfer, Sanctuaries, and Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive north through Kenya’s scenic central highlands to the award-winning Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arrive in time for lunch, completing the journey before the afternoon wildlife and conservation program begins.
In the afternoon, take a game drive through the conservancy, renowned for its outstanding wildlife conservation initiatives. Visit the famous Chimpanzee Sanctuary and explore the rhino sanctuary, home to black and white rhinos. Watch for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and other plains game before dinner.
Ol Pejeta began as a cattle ranch and evolved into a 90,000-acre wildlife conservancy.

Day 3: Full Day at Ol Pejeta | Morning and Afternoon Game Drives
Spend the full day exploring Ol Pejeta Conservancy on two wildlife outings. Begin with a morning game drive through the conservancy, then return for an afternoon game drive to continue observing wildlife across this protected area.
Experience exceptional wildlife viewing alongside Ol Pejeta’s world-renowned conservation programs. Discover Kenya’s only chimpanzee sanctuary, visit endangered rhino habitats, and seek opportunities to encounter the Big Five in one of East Africa’s premier wildlife conservancies. Dinner follows in the evening.
Ol Pejeta achieved IUCN Green List status in 2014, recognizing the importance of its protected landscape.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate | Transfer, Geothermal Scenery, and Optional Cycling
After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha and continue to the lake area, arriving in time for lunch. The morning is reserved for this transfer, which is completed before the day shifts from travel to the scheduled afternoon exploration of Hell’s Gate National Park.
In the afternoon, visit Hell’s Gate National Park, known for dramatic cliffs, deep gorges, geothermal landscapes, and abundant wildlife. Explore on a guided game drive or choose to experience the park by bicycle. Bicycle hire within Hell’s Gate National Park is available at an additional cost. Dinner follows in the evening.
Hell’s Gate National Park was gazetted in 1984 and covers approximately 68 square kilometers.

Day 5: Journey to Amboseli National Park | Scenic Transfer and Afternoon Wildlife Drive
After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and journey south through Kenya’s scenic countryside toward Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, completing the day’s main transfer before beginning the scheduled afternoon safari activities.
In the afternoon, take a game drive across Amboseli’s expansive plains. The park is known for large elephant herds and sweeping views of Mount Kilimanjaro, with opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and a wide variety of birdlife. Dinner follows in the evening.
Amboseli has been recognized as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 1991.

Day 6: Full Day Amboseli Safari | Two Game Drives Across Diverse Ecosystems
Spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park on morning and afternoon game drives. Begin with the morning drive across the park, then continue the safari program later in the day with a second drive in the afternoon, providing two scheduled periods for wildlife viewing.
Amboseli’s ecosystem combines open plains, seasonal wetlands, and permanent swamps, supporting abundant wildlife throughout the year. During the drives, take in spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain and one of Kenya’s most iconic safari backdrops. Dinner follows in the evening.
Amboseli National Park was officially gazetted on November 1, 1974.

Day 7: Return to Nairobi and Departure | Final Scenic Drive and International Airport Transfer
After breakfast, depart Amboseli and begin the final scenic drive back to Nairobi. This journey completes the return to Kenya’s capital and serves as the last overland sector of the itinerary, taking you back to the trip’s original starting point.
On arrival in Nairobi, continue with a transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Proceed to the airport for your onward international flight, bringing the seven-day Kenyan safari and its scheduled travel arrangements to an end.
