The Chellah area was originally settled around freshwater springs, later developed by Phoenicians and Romans, and eventually became a necropolis for the Merenid dynasty’s sultans. The site features Roman remains and the distinctive tomb complex.

At the end of the day, you check in to your riad accommodation located in the heart of the medina for your overnight stay.
