Day 1

When you arrive in Barcelona, a private transfer will meet you at the airport and take you directly to your hotel in the city center. After settling in and dropping off your luggage, you have free time to explore the streets of Barcelona at your own pace. This is an opportunity to familiarize yourself with your surroundings and experience the city’s atmosphere. In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional dinner at a local winery.

Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia and is known for its unique blend of Gothic and modernist architecture, including works by Antoni Gaudí.

After breakfast, you will join a guided tour focused on the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. Once the tour concludes, you have free time to visit notable sites such as the Sagrada Familia Cathedral or Park Güell, both renowned works by Gaudí. In the evening, you will dine at a fish restaurant located in the La Barceloneta neighborhood, where the menu features fish dishes prepared with sustainably sourced seafood from the Port of Barcelona.


The Gothic Quarter is the oldest part of Barcelona, with narrow medieval streets and Roman remains woven throughout the district.

After breakfast, you will depart by train to the Delta del Ebro Natural Park region. Upon arrival in the village of L’Ampolla, a private driver will take you to your accommodation, a traditional cabin known as a “barraca.” After settling in, you have free time to explore the estuary, taking in the local landscape, flora, and fauna. Later in the afternoon, you will have more free time in Deltebre, where you will visit a traditional rice farmer at El Moli de Rafalet and explore the Rice Museum.

Delta del Ebro Natural Park is one of Spain’s most important wetlands, famous for its biodiversity and rice cultivation traditions.

After breakfast, you will join local guide Polet for an ethnographic experience focused on traditional life and rice production in the Delta. The afternoon is yours to relax and enjoy the beaches along the estuary.

Rice farming in the Delta del Ebro has shaped the landscape and culture of the region for centuries, making it a vital part of local identity.

After breakfast, your private transfer will take you back to L’Ampolla, where you will board a train to Benicassim. Once you arrive and settle into your accommodation, you have free time to enjoy the beaches of this welcoming Mediterranean coastal town.

Benicassim is well known for its sandy beaches and mild climate, making it a popular destination on Spain’s eastern coast.

place Day 7: Maestrazgo Region | Olive Oil Heritage and Ancient Trees

After breakfast, your local guide will take you through the scenic Maestrazgo region, beginning with a visit to the Traiguera Royal Sanctuary. This area is renowned for having the highest density of olive trees over 2,000 years old. You will explore the landscape, spend time among the ancient trees, and participate in a tasting session with different olive oil producers to sample the so-called “Oro Liquido” or Liquid Gold.

Lunch will be served at the Santa Isabel chapel, featuring indigenous cuisine. Afterward, you will visit la Sénia de Marimon, an ancient waterwheel. The afternoon is free for you to enjoy Benicassim’s sea and sun at your leisure.

The Maestrazgo region’s millenary olive trees are a living link to the agricultural practices of ancient Mediterranean civilizations.

After breakfast, you will take a train to Valencia. Once you arrive and leave your luggage at your accommodation, the rest of the day is yours to explore Valencia independently. You can discover the city’s cultural and historical heritage at your own pace.

Valencia is known for its blend of Gothic, Renaissance, and modern architecture, and is the birthplace of the traditional Spanish dish paella.

place Day 9: Albufera Natural Park | Biodiversity and Open Landscapes

After breakfast, you will make your own way to Albufera Natural Park. The park features shores, sand dunes, forests, rice fields, and a lake, offering a diverse Mediterranean ecosystem. Here, you can observe unique bird species, local fish, and insects adapted to the area, as well as centuries-old trees draped with vines and dense bushes. Albufera is notable for its biodiversity, including carnivorous mammals descended from pets of ancient Arab settlers.

You can spend your time hiking or cycling through the forest, birdwatching, listening to the sea, or relaxing under the shade of pine trees. This day allows you to experience open fields and quiet shores away from the city.

Albufera Natural Park is a crucial wetland for migratory birds and has been central to Valencia’s rice cultivation since the Moorish period.

After breakfast, you will depart Valencia by high-speed train to Córdoba. Córdoba, once the capital of Muslim Spain, is located along the Guadalquivir River, which nourishes fertile meadows ideal for growing cereals, grapevines, and olive trees. You have the afternoon free to stroll through the city’s streets and discover its scenic spots. In the evening, a traditional dinner will be served.

Córdoba’s historic center is home to the Mezquita, a former mosque and now cathedral, reflecting the city’s layered Islamic and Christian heritage.

Day 11

Start your day with breakfast, possibly trying it the Andalusian way. You will then embark on a guided tour of Córdoba, focusing on the Jewish quarter, the renowned Mosque-Cathedral, and the famous “Patios Cordobeses” (Cordoban courtyards). During this private tour, you will visit a living temple that has witnessed significant historical events and learn about its architectural evolution, from an ancient Visigoth basilica to the mosque built by Emir Abd al-Rahman I and its later expansions. The tour also includes a stop at Calleja de las Flores, offering a unique view of the Mosque-Cathedral bell tower. You will continue through the old Jewish quarter, visiting the Municipal Bazaar, the monument to Maimonides, and the Synagogue. After the tour, you have free time to relax along the riverbanks.

Later, you will meet your guide for a visit to the Alhambra and Generalife. The Alhambra is a monumental complex that includes ancient palaces, gardens, a convent, a church, and a fortress. Originally built for the emir and the Nasrid Kingdom court, it was later converted into a royal Castilian residence. The Nasrid palaces are especially notable for their intricate decoration, representing the peak of Andalusian art and seamlessly blending with the surrounding landscape.

At sunset, you will have dinner at a restaurant in a beautiful villa, offering stunning views of the Alhambra.

The afternoon is free for you to further explore the historic Santa Cruz quarter, where you can visit local “tabernas” and “chiringuitos,” popular Sevillian bars.

Santa Cruz is Seville’s former Jewish quarter, known for its narrow lanes, whitewashed houses, and vibrant street life.
