3.5 Hour Cultural Tour
Departing from The View Hotel, we will provide a slight demonstration on a Hogan display that sits before entering Monument Valley Park. Depending on your guide (every guide has a unique style/route), Mitten View maybe the first stop which is where you will capture Monument Valleys iconic Mitten View. Located on this stop may have local family vendors. Next locations will be several stops including Merrick Butte, Elephant Butte, Three Sisters, and John Fords Point. At John Fords Point, this will be Monument valleys biggest and longest break period (middle of tour) where local family vendors and where you can take advantage of capturing a beautiful scenic view of the monuments (heart of MV). After this lengthy break, you will enter the backcountry for a hogan demonstration as well as several stops for Sleeping Dragon, Chiefs Head, Suns Eye, Ear of the Wind, and distance of Totem Pole. Youll enjoy the sandune ride to the Totem Pole and Arrowhead mesa where its met by Artist point, North Window, and Thumb Butte. (Some locations by not be met only due to weather conditions).
