Your journey starts at the stunning Grand Mosque, a masterpiece constructed with sandstone and marble. Admire the main prayer hall's exquisite Persian carpet and Swarovski crystal chandelier. Moving on, traverse the ministry area en route to the old part of Muscat.
Experience the vibrant Muttrah Fish Market, a bustling attraction where fishermen bring in their fresh catches, providing a lively spectacle. Continue to Muttrah Souks, one of Oman's oldest preserved markets, offering a diverse array of goods and souvenirs such as silver jewelry and frankincense. Immerse yourself in Oman's cultural heritage at Bait Al Zubair Museum, housing a fine collection of traditional jewelry, weapons, and costumes since its conversion into a museum in 1998.
The tour concludes with visits to Al Alam Palace and the 16th-century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali (exterior views only). It's crucial to adhere to the dress code for the Grand Mosque visit: Women should cover their hair, arms, and legs, while men are required to wear long trousers and a shirt.
