Muscat Full Day City Tour
There are several notable attractions in Oman that we will be visiting. The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is a significant landmark, open daily except on Fridays and holidays. Dress code includes women covering their arms, legs, and heads, while men are expected to wear a regular shirt and trousers.
We will then proceed to the Amouage perfume factory, where you can explore the Amouage Perfume Museum and learn about this beloved Omani brand. On our way to the fish market, we will drive through ministries and embassies areas, as well as Al Qurum's captivating beach street. At the fish and vegetable market, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere.
Our next stop will be Mutrah Souq, the largest traditional souq in Oman. Don't miss the chance to visit Muttrah Fort, built in the 16th century and restored in 1980. Bait Al Zubair Museum near Muttrah Fort offers insights into Omani culture and history. In old Muscat, you can admire the Al Alam Palace, along with the twin forts of Jalali and Mirani.
The Royal Opera House, a contemporary Omani architectural marvel, will also be on our itinerary. Built in 2001, it showcases Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said's passion for classical music and the arts. The opera house complex offers various facilities and venues for musicals, theatricals, and operas.
