place Kathmandu - Dhulikhel by surface

Drive to Dhulikhel (Approx: 32 km – 1 ½ hrs drive) After breakfast you drive to visit Bhaktapur, one of the three cities built in the Kathmandu valley by the Malla Kings. Bhaktapur is rather more laid back than Kathmandu City and neighboring Patan and still has quite a rural feel to it, being a town of farmers and craftsmen. Bhaktapur:- means "the city of devotees" in Nepali language. It is also known as Bhadgaon and was founded in 889 AD by King Anand Dev. Today it covers an area of four square miles and is flanked by Khasa Khusung and Hanumante Rivers. The palace complex in the middle of the city portrays the prosperity of the Malla years and the details at which the crafts people then worked. The Palace of Fifty-five Windows stands in the square, which was also home to many kings of Bhaktapur. Dhulikhel:- situated only 30 Km East of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal on the Araniko Highway in the lap of Greenwood and at an elevation of 1,676m/5,500ft above the mean sea level and along the ridge that separates the valley of Banepa and Panchkhal. It looks as if Dhulikhel is busy in conversation with the Himalayan range on the north with a beautiful smile. This might be the reason why many people call this place as the 'Queen of the Hills', and say that this place shares many features with Darjeeling a tourist city in India. From Dhulikhel one can get a panoramic view of the Himalayas from east to west. Your day at Dhulikhel may begin through witnessing the spectacular sunrise over the some of the greatest peaks of the world, including Gauri Shanker, Langtang, and Ganesh Himal. Arrive Dhulikhel and check in at the hotel/resort. Evening Sun set view of Himalaya. Overnight at the hotel

Namo Buddha is one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites south of the Himalayas, as well as being one of the holiest Buddhist sites in the world. Known by Tibetans as Takmo Lu Jin, meaning “Tigress Body Generosity”, the Namo Buddha stupa marks the site where a young prince (in some versions, the Buddha himself) encountered a tigress close to starvation and unable to feed her own cubs. Hike down from Namo Buddha to Panauti (Approx: 2 - 2 ½ hrs walk) Panauti: The name 'Panauti' is a formation of the Sanskrit word 'Purnamati' which symbolically means wholeness, completeness. The beautiful mountain valley of Panauti is situated at the confluence of Roshamati, Punyamati and Lilavati rivers. Traditional houses, courtyards, temples and monuments create the outstanding atmosphere of this place. Houses are built traditionally and the unique roofs and windows prove the craftsmanship of this city. Small and narrow alleys are paved with stones and bricks. Public rest-houses (satal) are scattered all over the city. Every breath is a prayer and every stone is a god here. This is a city of a thousand gods and goddesses. Cultural richness, the confluence of Roshamati, Punyamati and Lilavati all bring a sense of harmony to this city. In the middle of the city we can find the beautiful Indreshwar Mahadev Temple, which proves the richness of the city's artisans and artifacts. Indreshwar Mahadev is the oldest preserved Hindu temple of Nepal, standing on a single base. The pagoda type temple is the religious center of this area and thousands of devotees pray for salvation and liberation here. Overnight at the hotel
