All you will need today is a nice pair of walking shoes as you hike the nature trails of the Rincon de La Vieja Volcano. Still, an active volcano absorbs the effects of the volcanic activity as the steam from the ground rises up to meet you. As clay pools bubble with boiling, volcanic water you will encounter many different species of wildlife that have grown to love this climate. Also, you can have this amazing adventure by horseback riding! NOTE: The entrance fee to Rincon de la Vieja National Park is not included After this exhilarating hike, the rest of the day is free to enjoy the hotel facilities or book an optional tour (not included).

After breakfast, transfer to the white, sandy beach of Tamarindo in the morning. Here you will have the rest of the day free to enjoy the calm ocean waves and watch one of Costa Rica’s most unforgettable sunsets.

Leisure day today to explore the coasts at your own pace and relax on the beautiful white sand beaches enjoying the sounds of the ocean and surrounding wildlife. Tamarindo is the most developed touristic town so you may also walk the streets to enjoy different shops and restaurants and feel the laid-back vibe that the town represents.

In the afternoon, you will experience the best and most highly rated adventure activity in the area, the Sunset Sailing Tour on a 66-foot catamaran. While navigating along the bay enjoying some cocktails, you may see dolphins, turtles, flying fish, or even whales. Once in a secluded bay, snorkel equipment will be provided and you may jump off to search for the colorful reefs saturated with different species of marine wildlife swimming below. Lunch and an open bar are included in this tour.
