Nuuksio National Park Hike
This tour can start from Helsinki or from Espoo, each one with a different meeting point. We will take the train and then bus to reach the starting point of our hike in Kattila in 1 hour from Helsinki and 25 minutes from Espoo. In our Nuuksio National Park Hike, we will be following a carefully designed 8 km trail with moderate difficulty. This trail literally has the best parts that Nuuksio has to offer! We will pass by beautiful small ponds, diverse terrain with some hills, old-growth forest, picturesque vantage points, and also camping sites. We will start at Kattila next to Lake Kaitlampi, one of the northern points of the national park. Then we will make our way to Lake Ahvenisto, followed by a trail around the Lake Haukkalampi and a stop at Lake Mustalampi. The next stop is at the Recreational Centre Hawk Nest, next to Lake Haukkalampi. We will make a short stop at Lake Valklampi to gather some energy and then finish our tour at the Finnish Nature Centre Haltia with a reward; a great meal at the Haltia Restaurant.
