Santa Cruz is a young and cosmopolitan city with modern restaurants, clubs, and commercial districts. You will be picked up at the Viru Viru International Airport (VVI) and transferred to your accommodation where you can relax in the hotel before beginning your city tour around the city center. Explore the Umajalanta Cavern at Toro Toro National Park
Today, we will leave Cochabamba for an expedition to Torotoro National Park. This destination is ideal for adventure lovers who enjoy nature and the history of the dinosaurs' footprints. During the four-hour journey, you'll be able to see incredible landscapes such as high desert plateaus and verdant riverways coursing through them. Once you arrive, you will check-in at your lodgings and have time for lunch in the small town. In the afternoon, we will go to the Umajalanta Cavern, a 7 km long cavern with stalagmite and stalactite rock formations and several waterfalls. This caving excursion is recommended for active travelers, as you should be prepared to get wet and dirty, crouch, and crawl through dark, narrow areas. This is a physically demanding experience, and you may have to use a rope to get from one area to the other within the cavern. A helmet and headlamp will be provided for you. For those who prefer not to go caving, we can choose alternative activities.
