Flight to Ushuaia and hike in the national park Tierra del Fuego
We leave Buenos Aires in a private car to get transferred to the airport for a flight to Ushuaia. Check in at the hotel. In the afternoon we start a tour to discover Tierra del Fuego National Park for a light hike in the woods. Created in 1960 to protect the southernmost forests of the Beagle Channel and Argentina, Tierra del Fuego National Park covers an area of 69,000 hectares. Our tour begins with us on National Route No. 3, leaving from the center of the city traveling about 12 km until we reach the Tierra del Fuego National Park. There we make our trekking, towards the Mirador de Bahia Lapataia and where we will find the sign that indicates the end of the national route N° 3 and the distance to its opposite end of the country in the city of La Quiaca, province of Jujuy, on the border with neighbour Bolivia. On our tour, we will go through several forest trails where we can contemplate fauna and flora of the Patagonian area itself. The park is crossed by mountain ranges that divides it into valleys that are very difficult to access. Different from other Andean-Patagonian parks, the Tierra del Fuego park has forests near the sea coast, six kilometers long on the Beagle Channel, generating bays of singular beauty such as Lapataia Bay, which in the Yámana language means "wooded bay" or "bay of good wood". The tour can be arranged in the morning or in the afternoon (it lasts approximately 5 hours).

PATAGONIAN KING CRAB EXPERIENCE - A day in a fisherman village
Live an unforgettable journey in a picturesque village by the sea, with pick up at the hotel at 7:30. You will feel like a local, catching your own crab in the Beagle Channel, all while learning the culinary secrets to enjoy it in a Patagonian style! We start driving through the National Route 3, upon reaching the intersection with “J” Route, taking a gravel road through a dense native forest. As we reach the coast,we head East and start a hike into the woods to reach a tumbling waterfall. Back in our vehicle we take our travelers to Puerto Almanza, the southernmost fishing port in Argentina. From there, we take another gravel road 15 kilometers until we arrive to a lovely small fishermen village. Here nearly everyone in this village is dedicated to specialized fishing, catching crab, centollones, mussels and other typical mollusks of this area. A local family receives and invites us to board on their boat, in which we go to a special spot. We stop and pull up the traps hoping to catch a good amount of crab! As we return to the coast, in their small restaurant, the hosts prepare the crab in the Patagonian style, boiled in salty sea water. When it is ready, they teach us how to enjoy it! INFO This excursion may vary due to weather conditions. The hike to the waterfall takes approximately 2 hours (round trip). Crab catching activity is strictly subject to weather conditions upon arrival of passengers in Puerto Almanza. In addition, it may suffer variations in its activity according to closures or restrictions imposed by Natural Resources.

Perito Moreno
We will start our activity within Los Glaciares National Park, located 80 km from the city of El Calafate. The tour starts at the hotel where our guide will pick you up in the morning. On the way to the glacier, the guide will tell the history and main characteristics of the Glacier and the entire national park. When you reach the first balcony of the glacier and in front of the map of the same, the different trails will be explained to you and then each one will be able to walk as they wish, and at their own pace. Then we will take a boat for approximately 1 hour. This undoubtedly complements your visit to be dazzled by the magnitude of its landslides, not only from the height of the walkways, but now from the level of the lake: the front of the Glacier ranges between 40 and 80 meters high above the lake level.
