Day 1

place Podgorica airport - Piva

Meeting with our guide on your arrival at Podgorica airport then take the road to the North of the country towards the Piva Regional Park. Reach your accommodation located on the heights of Lake Piva where you will enjoy a delicious traditional meal. Overnight in Piva.

Day 2

place Hiking: Veliki Vitao

After breakfast, briefing on the week then start the hike. Set off in the direction of Štabanska, from where you will start the hike. You will cross magnificent landscapes including Lake Štabanska to reach the high borderlands between Bosnia and Montenegro. You will enjoy a panoramic view of the lake and the peaks of Durmitor, but also of the Sutjeska massif. From there and depending on the physical condition of the group, start the ascent to the summit of Veliki Vitao which is 2360 meters above sea level. Then descend to a small village for a night in a small guest house. Day 3

place Hiking: Durmitor & Prutaš - Žabljak

After breakfast, set out for an hour's drive to reach the highlands of Durmitor National Park previously used for ranching on large farms dating back to Yugoslav times. Start a hike to reach a viewpoint over Durmitor National Park and Piva Regional Park. Continue walking along a beautiful winding road to the front of the Prutaš mountain and admire its very specific vertical geological folds. Then set off for a walk along the edge of the valley, to enjoy a panorama from the Škrčko pass over the ancient glacial valley of Sušitca. Then get back down and board a bus for Žabljak then reach the charming mountain village of Podgora for 3 nights at a homestay on the farm. You will get to know the charming host family and taste traditional dishes where all the food comes from their own culture, as well as the meat that is from their animals. Day 4

place Hiking: Durmitor - Bobotov

After breakfast, Transfer to Durmitor National Park, by a magnificent road making you discover the particular relief of this region. Start the hike in the Zupci Valley. Arrived at the wide plateaus of alpine meadows interspersed with deep canyons where you can enjoy a view of the peaks of Durmitor. Continue your walk to Green Lake passing under the summit of Montenegro, Bobotov Kuk which is 2,523 meters above sea level. Then go back down to your host. Day 5

place Hiking in Durmitor

After breakfast, reach the starting point of the hike and then start a walk through the folds of the Durmitor massif. The day will be devoted to the ascent of the Prutaš summit which rises to 2393 meters above sea level. Then start the descent to Lake Škrle for a photo break and continue to the starting point. Return to town with the possibility of a stop to enjoy a well-deserved posthike beer. Overnight at the local house. Day 6

place Hiking: Tara - Kolašin

Last breakfast at the farm and say goodbye to your hosts. You will then leave in the direction of a small belvedere fitted out by a settlement in the village and then start a walk of about an hour up to the river Tara on the sides of the Canyon Tara, the second deepest canyon in the world. Traditional lunch then leave for Kolašin. On the road, you will discover the impressive Đurđevića Tara Bridge and walk on it to enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the canyon (possibility of crossing the canyon with a 900-meter zip line). Then continue to the protected forest of Plodina, which is home to a species of pines endemic to the country. After this green stop, return to Kolašin, drop off your belongings in your hotel, then take a stroll in this mountain village. Dinner and overnight in Kolašin. place Hiking: Kolašin - Biogradksa - Petrovac

After breakfast, depart from Kolašin where you will hike in Biogradska National Park. Cross a tourist village called "Eco katuns" and join the ridges of the massif which are quite flat and magnificent for its green pastures. Cross this small massif until you reach the foot of Lake Biogradska Gora. Called "the last jungle in Europe" containing a unique natural wealth. Stroll in complete freedom in the primary forest of the Park by the beautiful path around the lake known for the purity of its water. Then leave for the Montenegrin coast and reach a small town located 4 kilometers from Petrovac and drop off your luggage with the locals where you will sleep until the end of the trip. Enjoy a magnificent view of the Adriatic Sea. Overnight in Žukovica. Day 8

place Žukovica - Virpazar - Žukovica

After breakfast, join Virpazar for lunch. Located on the shores of Lake Skadar, discover this charming fishing village and board a boat for a ride on Lake Skadar, considere the heart of Montenegro, it is the largest lake in the Balkan region which stretches across the Montenegro and Albania. Lunch at Virpazar. After lunch, drive to the historic village of Godinje located in the heart of the most famous Montenegrin wine region, which is also part of the Skadar Lake National Park. You will visit a village family who have been producing wine for at least five centuries and enjoy stone houses, forming a unique village which the state of Montenegro has designated as a heritage site - historic hamlet of Godinje. Tasting of wines, rakias and liqueurs. Return to Žukovica in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Žukovica.

place Žukovica – Hike at Jamuri

After breakfast, travel to Stari Bar, one of the largest ports on the eastern Adriatic coast. Discover this city which often changed masters over the centuries - from Byzantium to Turkey to the Slavic and Serbian kingdoms. You will notice the many traces on the aspect of the city left by the Turks. Head to its beautiful market on the coast to pick up the day's food. Then take the road to the starting point of the hike. Begin the walk to reach the dominant peak of the Montenegrin coast. You will arrive at the top of Jamuri located at an altitude of almost 1600 meters, a massif separating Lake Skadar and the Adriatic Sea. Enjoy a magnificent panoramic view to the highest peaks in Albania from where you can even see the Croatian islands of Korčula and Mljet. Lunch break at the small summit monastery then return to the village and relax on small beaches or coves. Return to Žukovica in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Žukovica. place Žukovica – Hike at Milovich - Budva

After breakfast, set off for a magnificent gazebo hike along the coast. Set off a few kilometers from the sea to join a road that crosses the Milovich massif. The length of the hike can be variable according to the desire of each one. You will reach the monastery of Praskvica, for an easy walk enjoying the scenery. Lunch during the hike. Then head to Budva, the largest seaside resort in Montenegro, and discover this architectural gem that was one of the first cultural centers of the Adriatic Sea. Stroll in the old town or relax on its beaches. On the way back, you will make a stop in the charming cove of Sotlađevojka. Return to Žukovica in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Žukovica. Day 11

place Žukovica – Hike at Vrmac

After breakfast, depart for the Bay of Kotor in Vrmac and start a hike above Perast, an ancient town known for its port where Peter I learned to sail. You will enjoy a magnificent view over the bay of kotor at an altitude of 760 meters before descending to Perast. Lunch during the hike. In the afternoon, Perast, a former fishing village and defenders of the Boka, in Venetian and Gothic style, with 16 churches in the village. Then travel to Kotor, a UNESCO-listed coastal town famous for its Adriatic fjord, city walls and Venetian past. Stroll through the old town which was built between the 12th and 14th centuries and which is full of historical monuments of medieval architecture. Return to Žukovica in the afternoon.
