Arrival to Warsaw. Pick up the car in the airport and drive to the hotel. Night in Warsaw.

Day 2

place Warsaw Sightseeing

Sightseeing of Warsaw - the capital of Poland. During the tour you will see its main monuments. Start from a walk through the Royal Lazienki Park (The Royal Baths) with the Frederic’s Chopin monument, the Palace on the Water and the Island Theater. Then drive to the old Jewish part of the city: the grounds of the old ghetto and the monuments that commemorate the places of martyrdom of the Jews during World War II. Continue to the Old Town (UNESCO). Take a nice walk through the medieval streets from the Royal Palace and the cathedral, passing through the Market Square and the Barbican to the New Town. Overnight in Warsaw.

Day 3

place Warsaw – Oswiecim – Krakow (400 km)

In the morning drive to Oswiecim. Visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and extermination camp museum (UNESCO). During the World War II Auschwitz-Birkenau was the largest of the German Nazi concentration camps and extermination centers. Today the camp is a global symbol of terror, genocide and the Holocaust. It was built by the Nazis in 1940 on the outskirts of the town called Oswiecim. During Hitler's army occupation this region was the place of greatest sacrifice of people belonging to different countries of Europe (mainly people of Jewish origin). Continue to Krakow. Overnight in Krakow.

Day 4

place Krakow (30 km)

Krakow, the former Polish capital, is known today as the cultural capital of Poland. The city has earned the title of World Heritage Site in the first list created by UNESCO. Go to the Wawel Hill, where the Castle with the arcaded courtyard - the former seat of the Kings of Poland and the cathedral are located. Take a walk to the Market Square in the Old Town with emblematic monuments such as the Cloth Hall, the Church of the Virgin Mary and the Town Hall Tower. Next go to the barbican and the walls that surrounded the medieval city. Free afternoon in the Old Town or enjoy an optional excursion to the Salt Mine in Wieliczka, one of the oldest mines in Europe. It is the only one that, being the place named World Heritage Site by UNESCO (it was inscribed on the first list of 1978), continues to function. During your journey through the Wieliczka mine, you will visit the underground corridors, salt chambers. You will have the opportunity to see chapels where the mine workers gave worship to God and the salt sculptures (among others St. Kinga's, the patron of the miners). You will discover the mining techniques and underground lakes inside the mine. Return to Krakow. In the evening you can explore Kazimierz district and have dinner at a local restaurant with traditional Jewish music. Overnight in Krakow

place Krakow – Kalwaria Zebrzydowska – Wadowice – Wroclaw (320 km)

Drive to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska (UNESCO) - to the famous shrine of the Virgin Mary. Bernardines' monastery, surrounded by a set of picturesque chapels and inserted in the beautiful landscape of Beskidy attracts millions of pilgrims every year. During the trip you will visit the basilica, cloister and the Paths of Calvaria, designed on the pattern of Via Crusis in Jerusalem. Next continue the route to Wadowice - the birthplace of Pope John Paul II. Visit the basilica where Karol Wojtyla was baptized and the house where he lived throughout his childhood. Continue to Wroclaw.

Day 6

place Discover Wroclaw

Wroclaw is known as the City of Hundred Bridges. Its rich history and medieval character attract millions of tourists every year. The excursion begins with a visit to the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, dating from the 13th century. The cathedral is located on Ostrow Tumski former island, which is the oldest neighborhood in Wroclaw. Crossing the bridge over the Odra river, you will enter the Old Town. Here you will see the University of Wroclaw with its famous Leopoldina Hall - the representative Baroque hall. The walk through the medieval streets will take you to the Market Square, one of the largest in Europe, surrounded by picturesque houses and with the Gothic Town Hall in the center. Overnight in Wroclaw.

place Wroclaw – Poznan (190 km)

Drive to Poznan. In the afternoon, take a walk around the city of Poznan to discover its most interesting monuments, including the Mickiewicz Palace with the Opera building, the Collegium Maius building and the 20th century Imperial Castle. Next go to Ostrow Tumski, the place of the baptism of Poland in 966. After visiting the Gothic Cathedral of Poznan, walk over the Chrobry Bridge to the Market Square in the Old Town, where the famous Renaissance Town Hall is located. Continue through the beautiful medieval streets of the Old Town of Poznan, to the Baroque church and the church of the Franciscans, where you can see the model of the city of Poznan in the Middle Ages. You can finish the walk on the Freedom Square admiring its emblematic monuments from the 19th century: the National Museum, the Raczynski Library, the Hotel Bazar and the Arcadia. Overnight in Poznan.

place Poznan – Gniezno – Warsaw (360 km)

Drive to Gniezno, the first capital of Poland. Visit the Cathedral of Gniezno, the place of the coronation of the Polish kings and the repose of Saint Adalbert. In the cathedral you will see the famous bronze Roman doors that shows different scenes from the life of Saint Adalbert, the first Polish martyr. Continue to Warsaw. Overnight in Warsaw.
