Scenic Tour #1- 1.5 Hours
Explore Monument Valley from the comfort of an air-conditioned SUV with an expert local tour guide. Follow the scenic valley drive deep into the red sand desert for incredible views and look-out points. You'll make many stops along the way for chances to get some snaps and take in the scenery. After pickup at the View Hotel, you'll begin the 1.5-hour drive down switch-back dirt roads. The first short stop is at the Left & Right Mitten Butte, followed by a drive-by shot of Merrick Butte, and Elephant & Camel Butte. Stop at John Ford's Point, a beautiful spot named after the director who used this location to make many major western films. Drive over the beautiful landscape where many ancient natural medicines and remedies can be found. As the tour continues, see a 450-foot slim spiraled Totem Pole which stands before the Yeibichei Dancers kingdom. Finally, sail past The North Window, where you'll take in some of the best views of the day.
