Rainbow Mountain: Summit of Seven Colors Adventure
Early Morning Departure: The Adventure Begins (4:00 am - 4:20 am)
Start your day with a prompt pick-up from your centrally located hotel, embarking on a scenic 2-hour drive through the sleeping landscapes of Cusco to Cusipata-Paucarpata.
Fuel Up: Breakfast in the Andes
Upon arrival, enjoy a hearty local breakfast to prepare for the adventure ahead, surrounded by the crisp mountain air.
Off to Llaqto: Gateway to the Peaks (approx. 7:00 am - 10:00 am)
After breakfast, continue by vehicle for about 1 hour and 20 minutes until you reach the control point at Llaqto. Marvel at the shimmering snow-capped peak of Wiñay Ritty, meaning "Forever Young," a sight to inspire your trek.
Trek to Rainbow Mountain: Nature’s Masterpiece (10:00 am - noon)
Begin your invigorating hike through winding valleys and colorful slopes. The moderate trek (about 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours) leads you to the magnificent Rainbow Mountain at 5,020 meters. Soak in the breathtaking Mountain of Seven Colors—capture panoramic photos and rest at the vibrant summit.
Descending and Refueling: Lunch in Llaqto
Retrace your steps back to Llaqto, where a comforting, delicious lunch awaits. Unwind and share stories of your summit achievements.
Return to Cusco: Journey’s End (approx. 6:30 pm)
Relax in your transport as you watch the Peruvian countryside slide by on the drive back to Cusco, arriving around 6:30 pm. Conclude your adventure near Cusco’s lively main square.
