Upon arrival in the Airport of Temuco our local team will be waiting for you. A private transfer takes us to Pucon where we will have time to settle in our room. Our expert guides will give us a technical talk with all the details of the itinerary and answer all questions. We will have our bike fit and a warm-up ride around Pucon. You will get some free time to get to know the city of Pucon. Our guides will share some tips. We will enjoy a welcome dinner at a restaurant in town. Time in van: 1.5 hours.

We’ll cycle from our hotel to Lake Caburgua and then towards Pucon's famous Hot Springs. The ride today is a combination of rolling hills with several short climbs at the second half of the road. Throughout today’s ride our guide will help us identify several species of birds and trees as we cycle next to beautiful farms and enjoy views of the Villarrica volcano. With a little good luck, we will see smoke coming out of this active volcano. After cycling the rolling and sometimes hilly road to the hot springs, we will enjoy lunch and then a soothing soak in a hot mineral bath. Later we’ll take a short ride in the vans back to our hotel in Pucón, or you can ride in your bike if you want. Biking km: 52 km. Time in van: 2 hours.

We’ll cycle towards Curarrehue, a small Mapuche village located near the border with Argentina. We’ll cycle alongside river Trancura while enjoying views of three volcanoes, Villarrica, Quetrupillan and Lanin. The first 45 km of the road today are generally flat with a few rolling hills. But after that we can climb a 30km section on new asphalt all the way through Villarrica National Park, until we arrive at the Customs next to the mighty Lanin volcano, the tallest mountain in the Lake & Volcano District. At night a special and authentic dinner in the traditional housing of the Mapuche community is waiting for us. Biking km: 75 km. Time in van: 40 min.

After breakfast, we will drive for about 2.5 towards lake Ranco. On arrival at Futrono we’ll tackle the undulating road around the east side of the lake. The scenic highlight is the lake itself, dotted with islands surrounded by shades of green and blue. We will enjoy lunch at LLifen and continue riding to a beautiful area destled in a 34,000 acre private nature reserve, the remote Futangue Natural Park is a pure gem in the Patagonian forest. Biking km: 65 km. Time in van: 2.5 hours.

After breakfast, we will start biking towards lago Maihue. The lake is of glacial origin, and it is enclosed by mountain ranges of the Andes, by all sides, and drains west to Ranco Lake. The ride is really beautiful once we follow the Calcupurre river surrounded by endemic rainforest. On arrival to Mqueo area we will enjoy lunch by the lake. Here you will have the chance to dive in the water before the ride back to the hotel. Biking km: 65 km. Time in van: 40 min.

Today we’ll ride in the vans until we reach the city of Osorno, where we will begin cycling. From this point we’ll start our ride towards quaint little villages with a strong German heritage. The route consists of rolling hills with flat stretches until we end the ride by the beach of Lake Llanquihue, where a unique landscape is waiting for us, the Osorno Volcano with its perfect cone. We'll enjoy an incredible buffet lunch in a German family-owned restaurant and then drive in the vans 35 minutes to Puerto Varas. Evening at leisure. Enjoy the great SPA and sports facilities of the hotel. Dinner at the nice hotel by the lake. Biking km: 65 km. Time in van: 1 hour before riding / 35 min after riding.

This trip of a lifetime is about to end. In the morning, we start riding from the hotel, alongside Lake Llanquihue, where a unique landscape is waiting for us - the Osorno Volcano with its perfect cone. The side of the Volcano reaches the shore of the lake, and we’ll pass through the middle of this astounding landscape as we travel to the village of Ensenada. We will start pedaling from Puerto Varas to Petrohue, attacking 34 miles in one of the most beautiful routes of the tour. Upon completing the ride we’ll head back with the vans to the charming german-style city of Puerto Varas, our last destination, and let ourselves relax and enjoy a farewell dinner. Option extra 7.3 miles: Challenge yourself and climb the Osorno Volcano, one of the steepest climbs in South America (if not Europe). Biking km: 57.5 km. Time in van: 70 min after riding.

After breakfast, we’ll visit Puerto Varas downtown looking for those special souvenirs to bring home. Ask our guides about the local Markets with the best souvenirs, handcrafts and woolen clothing. Later we’ll ride in vans and head to the Puerto Montt Airport to catch your flight home or wherever your travels take you next. It’s been a trip you will always remember!
