It was here that, in the 15th century, the Portuguese set off on the epic journey that led them to discover other peoples and cultures... and it is in the Algarve that we cheerfully welcome many of our visitors. Even the climate is mild and sunny all year round! There’s no shortage of high quality beaches either. Sandy stretches as far as the eye can see, framed by golden cliffs, virtually deserted islands marking the boundary between Ria Formosa and the sea, and small coves sheltered by the rocks. The ocean, in every shade of blue and mostly calm and warm, invites you for long swims and to indulge in water sports.

Day tour around Lisbon
Today enjoy of a full day walk tour in the city. Later in the evening, you will also enjoy of a Fado show and dinner. Its exceptional natural light, which has long inspired writers, photographs and filmmakers, the brightly coloured buildings straddling the slopes, the striking ochre of the roofs, the tiling on so many facades and the narrow twisting alleys of the medieval districts bestow Lisbon with the peculiar atmosphere of a city perched somewhere between the European north and the Mediterranean south. This tour is a unique way to see and experience historical Lisbon. Insider guides give you a great insight into Lisbon’s lifestyle, history and culture as well useful tips.

Day tour to Sintra
Today you will have a full day shared group tour to Sintra and Cascais. Sintra, the Mountain of the Moon, is a place full of magic and mystery. It's difficult to see all of Sintra has to offer in one single day, so our suggestion goes to one of the most romantic palaces in Portugal, the Pena Palace, a fancy, revivalist reconstruction built in the Romantic period. On the way back to Lisboa, stop in westernmost point of mainland Europe, Cabo da Roca. Continue your journey towards, Cascais and Estoril, one of the most cosmopolitan and touristic places in Portugal. It’s worth going on a stroll around town, feeling the atmosphere.
