Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
You will be welcomed by your driver who will be waiting for you at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) upon your arrival to drive you to your private villa at KiliGolf Estate in the outskirts of Arusha. Welcome to Tanzania! Tanzania is the largest country in East Africa, known for its natural beauty and abundant wildlife. It is home to the highest mountain in Africa, the oldest human fossils, and the greatest animal migration on earth. Whether it was the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, the paleoanthropological site Olduvai Gorge or the Great Wildebeest Migration that first attracted you to sunny Tanzania, you are in for the adventure of a lifetime! With the “Spice Island” of Zanzibar not far from the mainland, Tanzania also offers white sands, azure waters, and fresh seafood to boot!

Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast on Day 2, you will be picked up by your expert driver guide to embark on your private safari at Tarangire National Park - a 2.5-hour drive away! Enjoy game drives inside the park during the day. At the end of each day, you will exit the park for a 40-minute drive to reach your beautiful villa. Tarangire National Park The majestic baobab tree, “The Tree of Life”, stretches its arms over a savannah of red earth, the Kori Bustard (the world’s heaviest flying bird) skims the skies, mobs of elephants roam the land: This is Tarangire! Tarangire is probably one of the least visited of the northern Tanzania game parks, and retains a real air of undiscovered Africa, particularly in the south of the park. The sun might leave the land scorched during the dry season but resident animals know that there is always water by the Tarangire River that meanders through the park. Watch as herds of elephants – reportedly one of the largest concentrations of elephants anywhere in the world – scratch the dry river bed for underground streams!

Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. If you are lucky, you may get to spot tree-climbing lions there at this famous park located at the Great Rift Valley. Return to your villa after a day’s excitement. (Optional activity: treetop canopy walk is available at extra costs.) Lake Manyara National Park is located just outside the Ngorongoro Area Conservation Area gate. The majority of the land area of the park is a narrow strip running between the Gregory Rift wall to the west and Lake Manyara, an alkaline or soda lake, to the east. It is famous for its population of flamingoes, which migrates to the park seasonally depending on lake conditions. Lake Manyara offers a great introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife, with over 400 bird species documented to have been spotted in the park. In addition to flamingoes, other big aquatic birds can be spotted here seasonally, including storks, pelicans, and cormorants.

Here, you can find tranquility in this working farm that boasts delicious farm-to-table meals and offers activities from vegetable harvesting to coffee roasting that are not easily found in other parts of the world.

Africa's Eden
Spend the day on your own. The sheet walls of this ancient caldera drop thousands of feet to a “Noah’s Ark” of animals on the verdant floor below where large herds of buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes graze. Ngorongoro Crater is known for the dark-maned lion. Given the dense population of lions in the Crater, it is evident that these big cats thrive here. Perhaps the old adage is true – the darker the mane, the more powerful the lion. Besides the attractive tresses of the Ngorongoro lion, you may see the dancing plumes of the ostrich, with its wings, extended as far as 2 metres while it puts on an awesome courtship display. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist.
