Adventure in the Sahara
After breakfast, you’ll get back on the road and first visit a special factory and store that creates all sorts of different homewares from fossils. Then, drive south to the village of Khamlia. The village is located seven kilometers far away from Merzouga. IT is a small village on the edge of the desert, where the Gnawa ethnic group lives. The Gnawa are originally from Central Africa, descents from the African slaves brought to Morocco. The Gnawa will let you share their Saharan music, accompanied by drums, guembris, and qaraqebs, with a few dancing steps in their company. Khamlia has always been an important place for Gnawa as some of the best-known Gnawa musicians have lived here over the years. After a special interactive Gnawa performance, you’ll head to a local Berber restaurant to enjoy the delicious Berber pizza (Medfouna) for lunch. After your visit to Khamlia, you’ll head to visit the Nomad village. In this village, you will meet nomadic families which are usually moved from a place to another in the Erg Chebbi dunes. You will be introduced to a family to learn more about their traditions and way of life. In the late afternoon, you’ll head to your camp in Erg Chebbi where the sand dunes begin. You’ll hop out from the car and onto the camels that will take you on a beautiful path through the tall sand dunes arriving at your luxury camp. Mint tea will be served as you arrive, after which you’ll have some time to enjoy the camp and contemplate the peaceful quiet of the Sahara. Dinner is included at the camp and will be served at your convenience, followed by a campfire and some live music by the camp’s staff who will perform tribal music for you. You can then enjoy the starlit sky before going to sleep in the comforts of your well-appointed tent.

Scenic Dades Gorge
Many people choose to rise with the sun to see the incredible changing colors of the Saharan morning, then eat breakfast and have some free time to enjoy the camp or to sandboard on the huge golden sand dunes. Fresh from your Saharan adventure, this is the day you’ll explore the mesmerizing rock formations and twisty roads of the gorges of the Atlas Mountains as you make the five-hour drive to the Todgha Gorges. Located in a small canyon in the eastern part of the High Atlas near the town of Tinerhir, the Todgha Gorges were carved out by rivers running through cliff-sided canyons on their final stretch through the mountains. The last 600 meters (1,969 ft) of the Todgha gorges are the most spectacular - you’ll see how the canyon narrows to a flat stony track, in places as little as 10 meters (33 ft) wide, with sheer and smooth rock walls up to 160 meters (525 ft) high on each side. After lunch (included) in a Berber village near the Todgha gorges, you’ll continue your drive to the Dades Gorges. Upon arrival at your hotel, you will have the rest of the afternoon at leisure to enjoy your property and have free time to rest. Dinner this evening will be at the hotel (included).

From Dades to Ait Benhaddou
After breakfast in Dades Gorges, you will drive to visit the Valley of Roses. The valley of the roses offers some of the most spectacular landscapes in the country, with rivers flowing through mountain gorges into lush green valleys. The town of Kelaa M'Gouna, famed for its production of rose oil, every spring it plays host to a Rose festival when they harvest millions of rose petals to turn into various cosmetics. Then continue onto the ancient fortress of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. A UNESCO world heritage site located in the foothills on the southern slopes of the High Atlas Mountains, the fort of Ait-Ben-Haddou is a striking example of southern Moroccan architecture. The fort is a mainly collective grouping of dwellings, with imposing defensive walls that are reinforced by angle towers and pierced with a baffle gate. It is an extraordinary ensemble of buildings offering a complete panorama of pre-Saharan earthen construction techniques. After lunch, continue towards Marrakech on one of the most scenic drives you’re likely to take in your life, venturing through the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas mountains and back down on the other side into the dry flat plains of Marrakech. You should expect to arrive in Marrakech around 6 or 7 PM. Your arrival and drop-off in Marrakech marks the end of services.
