Day 1

Airport pickup in Salta

You will be picked up at the airport in Salta and taken to your accommodation for the night.

Day 2

place Day 2: Salta - Purmamarca, Argentina

Salinas Grandes & Purmamarca
 

We will pick you up between 7:00 - 7:45 am.
Embark on a full-day adventure deep into the high Andes, starting with an ascent up the spectacular and winding Cuesta de Lipán, a zigzagging road that reaches a breathtaking peak of 4,170 meters above sea level. Continuing across the highlands, you will reach the mesmerizing Salinas Grandes, a vast and brilliant white salt flat situated at 3,450 meters, offering unforgettable panoramic views. Finally, you will descend into the picturesque village of Purmamarca, located right at the foot of the iconic Hill of Seven Colors, where you will explore the local charm before settling in for an overnight stay in Purmamarca.

Humahuaca Full Day Excursion


Leave Purmamarca after breakfast, and head north to the province of Jujuy. The small towns of Maimará, Tilcara, Uquía and Humahuaca will open their ancient charm to your captivated eyes. Make a stop in Purmamarca to see the beautiful and famous Seven Color hill, in Tilcara, you will visit the Pucará (fortress) and the Archaeological Museum, while in Uquía you stop to admire the local church. But it’s in Humahuaca where you enjoy in the extremely peaceful atmosphere, the typical colonial architecture and the charming people. Let the history behind the walls and stones of these places take you on a ride to the Argentinian past! To finish your full day excursion arround these amazing places you will also visit San Salvador de Jujuy to get to know its monuments and intriguing legends. Finish your day and go back to Salta at 7:00 - 8:00 pm.

Enjoy a free day in Salta. You can walk around this beautiful colonial town and visit its interesting museums, including the well-known MAAM.
