Kafountine 80km 2hr Drive
Today we leave our accommodation and, after obtaining our visas to enter Guinea-Bissau, we drive south, crossing the border into Senegal at Jiboro / Seleti. But of course we’ll stop on the way to view local wild life and visit colourful markets. There’s also the opportunity to go on a forest walk, and a boat trip. We spend the night in a lodge at Kafountine.

Kafountine –Ziguinchor -Sao Domingo’s -Varela (108KM 2hr)
Breakfast and Drive to Kasel island and take a morning boat trip to Pelican island, Home for Varieties of sea Birds and Protected island for seeing Turtles and island inhabited by the Karoninkas after boat trip continues to Ziguinchor Town the Capital of the Region and Lunch Break. Drive to Ziguinchor Town to the Border of Senegal to Bissau and visit and Continue to Sao Domingo the border town in Bissau and overnight in Valera village at the Coastal belt Accommodation in Basic Eco lodge.

Capital of Bissau
After breakfast have a village tour and continue our drive to the Capital of Bissau, By the way, we have a stop to see a family in katel and the rice field, Arrive in Bissau and visit the capital city Square with lots of cultures around.

Ilha de Bubaque
After breakfast, we take a private boat from the port to Ilha de Orango (Orango Island), one of the Bijagós Islands. There’s time for relaxation here, before we head off on a boat trip, wildlife-spotting on nearby Ilha de Bubaque (Bubaque Island). Tonight we stay at a simple lodge.

Cap Skirring
After breakfast, it’s time to head back to the mainland by boat. Then, from Bissau, it’s a drive back north, crossing the border back into Senegal. Tonight we stay in the coastal town of Cap Skirring, where you can enjoy the beach or maybe go shopping for souvenirs. Our accommodation is in a comfortable hotel (the Hotel Maya or similar).

The Gambia
There’s time to take it easy on the beach this morning before we visit the busy fishing port of Cap Skirring and continue our journey. But there are many sights to take in on the way, the cultural museum in Becutte, huge Kapok trees and maybe, just maybe, we will meet the Animist King. Finally, though, we cross the border back into the Gambia. Tonight we either stay at our Eco Lodge, or on Baobab Island and spend a farewell meal together.

End of Trip
After breakfast, there’s a chance for some final shopping in the markets of Brikama, before the tour ends, and we drop you at your hotel and say our farewell.
