Day 1

place DAY 1 - ONE OF THE WORLD'S LARGEST MONOLITHS

Your guide will welcome you either at the airport in Querétaro, at the bus terminal or at the hotel you have selected for your night before your adventure with us.

Today's adventure takes place in the quiet and beautiful Magical Town of Bernal, known by the Otomiés as Ma'hando or "place of two".

We will reach the top of one of the three largest monoliths in the world, through a simple but mind-challenging rock climb. During our ascent, we will be able to observe the spectacular view of the semi-desert and the Sierra Gorda of Queretaro. Later we will go down by two rappels of 60 and 30 meters, to finally refresh ourselves with an excellent cold beer or fresh water, and a delicious typical meal of the region.

Day 2

place DAY 2 - SEMI-DESERT OASIS HIKE AND SUNSET KAYAK

If you are a born adventurer, you like hiking or mountain bikingswimming or cooling off in rivers and discovering the local gastronomy of Querétaro, this day will be ideal for you.

We will enjoy the natural beauties that hide the roads of the Sierra Gorda Queretana biosphere reserve, we will ride or hike along paths between mountains and semi-desert canyons that will surprise you with their magnificent views. We can swim in its crystal clear rivers and walk next to rock formations over 50 meters high

We will end our circuit enjoying a well-deserved typical regional meal with traditional dishes and drinks that will delight your palate. To receive the sunset, we will kayak through an artificial lake in Jalpan, to observe different birds.

Day 3

place DAY 3 - SURREALISM IN THE XILITLA JUNGLE

During this day, you will see the surreal sculpture garden of Edwards James, built in the middle of the tropical forest: this British aristocrat had a dream of building a Garden of Eden and found the perfect place in Xilitla.

After this visit, we will reach the Sótano de las Huahuas. This hole in the ground with a depth of 478 meters is a refuge for hundreds and hundreds of swifts that come and go from the cave at dawn and dusk. You will have the opportunity to observe this incredible spectacle of nature after a short walk of 40 minutes.

Guide: Included for the day

Meals: Breakfast, Snacks

Day 4

place DAY 4 - TURQUOISE WATERS EXPERIENCE

Experience the tranquility of the Santa María River, going down on an inner tube on its waters. This activity, similar to rafting, is done individually: you will descend the rapids with a small paddle to help you in the calmest parts of the river. Do not forget to enjoy a dip in its pools of blue waters.

After the adventure, you will discover another of the Franciscan missions in the area: the Concá mission.

Finishing the visit, we will take our way to one of the local restaurants of what is called "The Flavor route" to have a delicious meal with regional food.

Meals: Breakfast, Snacks

Day 5

place DAY 5 - BETWEEN WATERFALLS AND VINEYARDS

This day will be our last in the mountains, but the way back will still offer us some unforgettable sights.

The first stop will be at the Chuveje waterfall and its height of 35 meters, an emblematic place in the Sierra Gorda of Querétaro.

Later in the mountains, we will visit one of the viewpoints to appreciate the greatness of the Sierra Gorda.

Finally, we will have lunch at one of the vineyards near Querétaro where you can enjoy a local picnic lunch (Lunch not included).

Time to say goodbye at the end of the day and leave you at the place you indicate to continue your journey in Mexico.
