Chisomo Safari Camp overlooks the Makhutsi River, tucked deep in the Big Five Karongwe Game Reserve in Limpopo, South Africa, offering an Unrivalled African Safari experience where the warm atmosphere, friendly staff and fine cuisine compliment the excellent Big 5 game viewing. Guests enjoy early morning and late afternoon safaris in open 4×4 safari vehicles conducted by experienced guides and trackers. The friendly staff at Chisomo ensure that guests are given Personal attention and service at all times. During the day, guests may relax at the pool or retire to one of the beautifully decorated lounges. The Management and Staff of Chisomo Safari Camp are dedicated to excellence, striving to ensure that each guest leaves with wonderful memories of an unforgettable Safari and the realization that our natural environment and our heritage must be conserved for future generations to come. Price is based on 3 nights in safari suites on full board and activities basis as follows: SERVICE INCLUDES: All meals, teas, coffees and snacks, wifi, dawn and dusk safaris in open Land Rovers, drinks on dusk safaris are limited to one per person with a choice of local beer, wine or soft drink, any transfers from Southern boom gate, tourism levy, reserve entrance fee and rhino levy. SERVICE EXCLUDES: Airport and road transfers, including chartered flights landing at Hoedspruit Civil Air Base, mini bar, curio, telephone, spa, laundry expenses, premium and imported brand beverages.

Times may vary slightly from summer to winter: 05:30am – Wake up call, coffee and light refreshments 06:00 to 09:00am – Depart for morning activity, i.e. game drive, game walk depending on camp selected. 09:30 to 11:00 am – Return to camp for cooked breakfast or brunch 11:30am to 13:00pm – Enjoy a massage, swim, bird watch, read, siesta, whilst some camps offer guided nature walks and other activities 13:00 - 14:00pm – Some camps will offer lunch depending on when breakfast / brunch was served 15:00pm – High tea is served (a selection of sweet and savoury snacks) 16:00 to 19:00pm- Depart for afternoon activity, i.e. game drive, game walk depending on camp selected. 18:00pm – Sundowners are served in a scenic spot usually on game drives 19:30pm – Dinner is served, in some instances possibly a boma. 21:00pm – Depending on camp go star gazing, listen to a lecture or enjoy a nightcap.
