Tamul Waterfall and Water’s Cave
8:30 am We depart from Ciudad Valles, rendezvous point for tourists interested in the exploration of The Huasteca Potosina Region. 10:00 am Arrival to the river bank. The guide will provide us with the necessary team to perform the activity. Presentation from our local guide about the place and instructions on rowing upstream in the Tampon River in order to make it to the waterfall in a typical panga wooden canoe. 10:45am We will appreciate the beautiful waterfall measuring 105 meters in height. The Tamul waterfall is the tallest waterfall in the state of San Luis Potosi while we will navigate the turquoise blue waters of the Tampaon River, one of the most scenic and clean in North America, where we will be able to swim part of the river to make it to the Water Cave or the sunken Huasteca Cenote. 2:30 pm We will reach the embarking point at the shore and will head towards the restaurant. 3:00 pm We will delight ourselves with a rich local meal cooked over a wood fire. 5:00 pm We arrive to Ciudad Valles where each tourist will be taken back to their respective hotel.
