Volunteering in Tanzania is fun, hard work and absolutely unforgettable. Placements in local villages will appeal to people who are adventurous, motivated and caring (both for people and the environment), as well as enthusiastic. Typical tasks include everything from helping to construct water tanks, toilets and schools, to running sports days, youth groups, assisting teachers, planting trees and health awareness days. The work is very varied and volunteers can choose what they would like to get involved in. Projects leave a lasting impact on communities, and volunteers will be building on the success of previous volunteers.

All our volunteers find the work really fulfilling and feel that they really have made a difference to the lives of local people. Our projects employ 10 full time and 50 part time Tanzanian people who have become our friends.

This type of holiday combines working alongside local people with the opportunity to experience one of the most exciting wildlife watching safaris in East Africa. Not only will your funds, and presence, really make a difference to people that need it most, but you'll also be forging unforgettable memories to keep and cherish for many more years to come.
