Arrival to Kraków
On your arrival to Krakow meet local guide for a walk throgh the Old Town. The central Market Square – the largest in Europe – is where several of the city’s architectural and cultural landmarks can be found, such as the Cloth Hall which today houses a gallery of Polish paintings and St Mary’s Church, world-famous for its altar carved by Veit Stoss. An impressive Wawel Hill is from the Royal Residence and Cathedral overlooks Vistula river. Wawel Castle is an interesting example of Renaissance architecture, which houses one of the largest collections of tapestries in Europe. Overnight in Krakow
Zakopane and the Tatra Mountains
After breakfast a car/bus provided by us will take you to Zakopane, a lively resort located at the foothills of the Tatra Mountains. After 2 hours you will reach the hotel situated close to the Tatra National Park entrance. After leaving your luggage in the hotel you can take a moderate walk along one of the Tatra valleys. There are two options to choose from. (Approximately 2 to 4,5 hours hike). Overnight stay in Zakopane

The Tatra Mountains
We offer you today a full day excursion to the Tatra Mountains. Among suggested routes are the peaks of Kopa Kondracka (2005 m), Czerwone Wierchy (2096 m) and Swinica (2301 m). Each of the proposed routes is described in detail and marked well. (Approximately 5 to 8 hours hike) Overnight stay in Zakopane

Spisz region and Slovakian Pieniny national park
After breakfast a car/bus will be awaiting to take you to the Slovakian side of the Pieniny national park. Today’s hike follows a rolling landscape and passes several interesting limestone formations. You will descend to the valley of Dunajec. Accommodation is planned on the Polish side of the river near the entrance to the Dunajec Gorge. (Approximately 3,5 hours hike) Overnight stay in Sromowce Nizne

Pieniny Mountains
Start of the walk through the Dunajec Gorge. This narrow limestone valley is listed by UNESCO as World Natural Heritage Site. Today’s route follows the so called Pieniny Way to a spa town Szczawnica. The route can be optionally covered by wooden rafts operated by local Highlanders. Overnight in Szczawnica (Approximately 3 – 5 hours hike)

Beskidy Mountains
We head eastwards from Szczawnica and pass a village Jaworki, where a population of Greek-catholic Lemkos lived until the end of World War II. Today’s excursion leads through a range of mountains called Beskidy and ends up on the peak of Przehyba (1175 m), where a mountain chalet is located. On the way you may also pay a visit to a nature reserve “Homole Gorge” with interesting rock formations. (Approximately 3 - 5,5 hours hike) Overnight stay in mountain chalet on Prehyba peak.

Rytro and Krakow
The last stage of the trek leads from Przehyba peak to Poprad valley, to a quiet summer vacation area around town Rytro. Here ends the walking part of trip. A car/bus will transport you from here back to Krakow, where in the afternoon you can once again spend time on individual sightseeing. (Approximately 2,5 hours hike) Overnight stay in Krakow.
