Warm welcome at Chiang Mai airport Bangkok International Airport. You will meet your English-speaking guide at the gate and take a transfer from the airport by air-conditioned van will take you to your hotel. After check in at your hotel, you are free the rest of the day. Take your first steps to discover this ancient city

Breakfast in the morning and later that day you will participate in the TukTuk tour around Chiang Mai. The perfect day trip for anyone in Chiang Mai combining driving your very own Tuk-Tuk, seeing real rural life and bamboo rafting. We’ll spend a little time teaching you how to drive your vehicle before heading out to see farming villages and small hamlets on the outskirts of the city of Chiang Mai. Then we’ll switch gears and put you on a bamboo raft for a little jaunt down a local river.

After breakfast, you are free till early afternoon when we will take you to Chiang Mai Bus Station Terminal 3. The bus departs at 13:10 and arrives in Mae Sot around 18:40. Upon arrival in Mae Sot, a driver will pick you up and take you to a local guest house by local Songteaw where you will be spending the night.

In Mae Sot our local staff picks you up. You will have the opportunity to sleep in Lars Guest House for a couple of hours (expect basic shared accommodation). After breakfast, you will be taken a short ride to the Thai-Burmese border market at the river Moi. After lunch, you will go by public songthaew (half-open pick-up truck) to Umphang. It is a beautiful 4-hour ride up the mountains with more than 1,000 turns in the road (if you suffer from motion sickness you might consider bringing motion sickness pills). Accommodation for the night will be in basic huts/houses. You may leave some of your belongings in Mae Sot in order to lighten your load for the trekking ahead. You can collect it again on day 5.

After breakfast, the easy rafting takes you on the narrow Mae Klong River through the forest scape. From the riverside, continue for three to four hours of fine trekking to the camp area in Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary where your guides will pitch tents and cook dinner. Accommodation: Basic tent at Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast, you will walk to the impressive Tee Lor Su, South East Asia’s largest waterfall. Bring a towel and swimsuit, and you can take a refreshing swim and if the water level permits, cliff jump from the top of the waterfall. Afterwards, you will walk through bamboo forests, cross bridges and walk through dense jungle to the Karen village of Ko Tha where you spend the night in a local, traditional Karen house.

Wake up to a scrumptious jungle breakfast. In front of you there are 3 hours of trekking through the jungle and over a small hill to Palatha. Here your transportation back to Umphang is waiting for you. When back in Umphang, you can take a shower before heading back to Mae Sot. In Mae Sot, a short rest and dinner will await you before you board the overnight air-conditioned bus back to Bangkok. Today is completely free at your leisure to enjoy the beach or relax in the hammock at your resort, or perhaps join a fishing tour or one of many snorkeling tours arranged privately by the resort.

After breakfast you will join the Bangkok Detectives. Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel at 8:30. We will then head out together by tuk-tuk to the starting point of today’s mystery adventure. Put on your detective’s hat Sherlock Holmes! A Thai family has disappeared, and we urgently need your help. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, will be to retrace the family last steps and save them! Following a playbook, you will collect clues along a charming route and finally crack the case! From one surprise to another, this investigation will make you discover authentic and secret places of old Bangkok. You will visit the beautiful Golden Mount temple (Wat Saket) and its amazing view, pass by the gardens of the iconic Wat Suthat temple, meet the last communities that are still doing Thai traditional crafts, and savor a famous coconut dessert. For nearly 3 hours, you will really dive into Thai life by walking through narrow lanes (soi) or passing by local markets. But don’t lose sight of your mission! Find the traces of this missing family! All participants will meet in a charming café where you will enjoy refreshments and finally crack the case. Thanks to all the collected clues! Once our case is closed, we will hop on our tuk-tuk and head to a special rooftop restaurant & bar. You will get a refreshing beer or fruit shake as a reward and enjoy the view over the river from the rooftop bar.

Breakfast in the morning. Experience the real Bangkok by bike and develop a sense of orientation, this tour is the ideal way for you to see a side of Bangkok you are very unlikely to find on your own. You’ll start the bike tour heading towards some of Bangkok’s most interesting sites, in the local Thon Buri district. Explore an overflow of local impressions, passing through this intense and authentic district on our bicycles, you’re sure to be amazed. Pay a visit to the uncrowded Wat Prayoon, located in a lush compound, where you’ll get to walk inside and feed their many turtles. Board the local ferry to cross over to the Chinatown district, a place you must cycle through to really experience its energetic environment. On the way back, explore Bangkok’s gigantic Flower Market. This is one of the world’s biggest flower markets, and you’re sure to be captivated by the kaleidoscope of colors, with millions of flowers for sale here. Later you return to the hotel and will take an Overnight Train to Chumpon for your next stop. Transportation: Bangkok Train Station to Pathiu Train Station (Chumpon) by Night Train

You arrive in the early morning in Chumpon. A private transfer pick you up at Pathiu Train Station to your hotel on Thung Wua Laen beach. Check in and enjoy your first day on the beach.

Be part of a unique expedition to a remote island in the bay of Chumphon, one of the most preserved beach provinces in South Thailand. At 13h00 at Pathiu district’s fisherman village, meet with your guide who will accompany you to Kye Island for an amazing camping experience. He will first give you a basic briefing on safety and dos & don’ts on this fragile island. Then, you will receive a complete camping equipment package including a tent, sleeping bags, pillow, front head lamps and some beach games. At the fisherman village, you will get your last chance to purchase snacks and drinks to bring with you to the island. Follow your guide to a local fishermen community and hop on a traditional longtail boat for a 30-minute cruise to Koh Kye. Koh Kye has a unique feature which is different from other islands. It is actually a “coral graveyard”, which takes the form of a white sand dune, and is as white as an egg! A large amount of dead corals has been gathering on this dune island since Typhoon Gay attacked Chumphon in 1989. As time passes, rainwater changes the color of the dead corals to white, creating the natural beauty of this unique island. Koh Kye is a sanctuary of peace surrounded with coral reefs and home to a thick jungle. This is where we will set-up our camp for the night. Don’t worry, there are plenty of activities waiting for you, including snorkeling in the coral reef among hundreds of colorful fish, or participating in a fun beach volleyball tournament while the sun sets in the background. Just after sunset, join the rest of the group for a delicious BBQ prepared with freshly caught seafood and vegetables grown by the farming community of Chumphon. Enjoy the rest of the evening in good company under the stars while listening to campfire stories. By night, fishermen often make a stop on the island and invite campers to join them fishing squid. A unique experience!

Time to wake up and enjoy a tasty breakfast. You will receive a bag to collect plastic waste you may find around the camp. We make sure to not leave any trace of our passage. Then, we embark on our fishermens boat and head back to the mainland. On arrival at the village, enjoy a refreshing shower. From there we pick you up for your further transfer to the pier for your ferry to Koh Tao. Arrive at the island, and we pick you up from the pier to your hotel. Check in, and you are free at your own leisure on this beautiful island.
