Day 1

place Arrival in Siem Reap

Arrival at Siem Reap airport; once immigration has passed and your bags have been collected, we will be waiting for you at the exit for the transfer to the hotel.

Day 2

place Angkor Temples: Ta Phrom, Ta Nei, Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat

Meeting at 8:30 at reception to go by tuk tuk to the temple grounds to collect the pass. We will start with Ta Phrom, from the late 12th century and Khmer style, known from the movie Tomb Raider; Ta Nei or hidden temple. Angkor Wat, the greatest exponent of Khmer architecture, considered the largest religious structure ever built and one of the 7 wonders of the world. After a break at noon, we will continue with Angkor Thom: “big city”, inside which we will visit: Bayon known for its towers with smiling Buddha faces; Baphuon which is a pyramidal representation of Mount Meru; Phimean Akas, used to house a palace where royalty bathed; the terraces of the elephants, whose stairs are decorated with lions and garudas and life-size images of elephants, and of the leper king, where we will see a naked statue, whose meaning is unknown. At sunset we will return to the hotel.

Day 3

place On the way to Hanoi

At the agreed time transfer to Siem Reap airport for the flight to Vietnam. Upon your arrival in Noi Bai, past immigration and after collecting your suitcases, we will be waiting for you to transfer to the hotel.

Day 4

place Temple of Literature, Museum of Ethnology, Ho Chi Minh House and Mausoleum

At 8:30 our guide will show us the city of Hanoi: the Temple of Literature, dedicated to Confucius and the first University of Vietnam, the Museum of Ethnology to learn about the peoples and culture of Vietnam; the Ho Chi Minh Memorial complex, we will be able to see from the outside the mausoleum where his embalmed remains rest, and we will visit the house where he lived. Also the one-pillar Pagoda, a small and curious Buddhist pagoda, unique in the world. After that we will go to Hoan Kiem Lake with its Ngoc Son Temple, where our guide will tell us the story of the turtle and the sword. In the old quarter, we will taste a peculiar coffee (not included, 40000VND), and we will begin to explore it by walking through the 36 streets to know the day-to-day life of the capital.

Day 5

place Embark the Halong Bay Cruise

At 7: 30/8: 00 land transfer to Halong Bay, which means a falling dragon. Upon arrival at around 12:00 boarding at the Junco, after the welcome drink, the cruise will begin to discover the bay, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Once the navigation has begun, the crew will serve lunch and after a short rest to enjoy the views on the deck, we will disembark to visit Hon Co beach and its hidden cave. We will be able to take a kayak ride among the rock formations and on our return there will be an exhibition of Vietnamese cuisine before dinner. To end the day we will have a party on deck and for the most curious, squid fishing! Night on board.

Day 6

place From Halong Bay to Hoi an

The day begins at dawn with Tai Chi exercises on deck, followed by breakfast as we head back to the bay. We will disembark at the typical sampan to know a floating fishing village, its way of life and customs. We will sail to contemplate the landscape from a new perspective. Back in our junk we will receive a Vietnamese cooking class with the crew. While we have lunch the junco will be able to head back to the bay. Ground transfer from Halong to Hanoi and at the agreed time at the reception of your hotel, transfer to the airport for the flight to Danang, from where we will transfer you to the hotel in Hoian city.

Day 10

place Xeo Quyt, Sa Dec

At 8:30 we will leave for My Hiep, Dong Thap province. We will tour the Mekong canals to Xeo Quyt. This former guerrilla base is located in the city of Cao Lanh, with an area of ​​50 hectares, of which 20 are mangroves. It was the base of the revolutionary Committee of popular leaders of the province, resistance against the Americans. In the afternoon we will continue to Sa Dec, a small and quiet town that was the setting for the autobiographical novel "The Lover" by Marguerite Duras. We will walk through its market, not very crowded and authentic near the river and we will discover a lot of architecture from the colonial era, as well as numerous old mansions and merchant houses. One of these houses belonged to the protagonist of the novel and has been traditionally restored. After the visit we will continue to Can Tho, where we will stay.

Day 11

place Phong Dien and Cai Rang Markets

At 5:00 we will leave Can Tho, the most populated city in the delta and known as the rice pantry of Vietnam, to go to the Phong Dien market, and the Cai Rang floating market, one of the most popular in the Delta, despite Not being the largest is the one with the most commercial activity with hundreds of boats, ships, and even canoes packed with fruits, vegetables, rice, clothes... It is curious to see how ships that sell the same products tend to group. Then we can visit a local house with its fruit orchard, its bomb crater converted into a lake, (which today supplies the family with fish) and there we will taste some of the varieties of seasonal fruit. We will return on our boat to Can Tho, where we will visit the local market and from there we will go back to Ho Chi Minh.

place Flight to Bangkok

We leave Vietnam at the agreed time for the transfer to the airport and take the flight to Thailand. Upon your arrival, past immigration and after collecting your suitcases, we will be waiting for you at the meeting point (door number 3) for transfer to the hotel.

Day 13

place Ayutthaya, Wat Mahathat, “monkey temple”

At 8:00 we will leave with our guide for Ayutthaya, a World Heritage Site since 1991. Its route was closely linked to water since it was built at the confluence of three rivers: Lopburi, Chao Phraya and Pa Sak. Its location halfway between China, India and Malaysia, made it a perfect enclave for trade; This prosperity made it known as the "Venice of the East". We will visit Wat Mahathat - the famous Buddha head on the tree and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. We will continue our way to Lopburi, to the Phra Prang Sam Yod, currently a Buddhist sanctuary, an ancient Hindu temple from the 13th century, popularly known as the “monkey temple”, by the colony that is housed in its gardens. We will continue to Phitsanulok, where we will stay.

Day 14

place Sukhothai, Doi Suthep

At 08:00 meeting at reception and departure to Sukhothai, ancient capital of the Kingdom of Siam. We will visit its Historical Park in a pleasant bike ride (the park has electric carts whose cost is 500THB for those who do not want to use the bike). Declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, it is made up of a set of 193 ruins, of which our guide will show us: Wat Maha That, with its almost intact standing Buddha, Wat Sra Sri, in the center of the pond to which accessed by a wooden walkway, Wat Sri Savaya, of Khmer origin and Wat Trapang Ngoen, which means temple of the silver pool. After knowing Sukhothai, we will continue to Chiang Mai to visit the famous Wat Phra That Doi Suteph or "temple of the 301 steps"; located in the middle of the jungle and with beautiful views of Chiang Mai, it is one of the most revered temples in the country. After descending from Suthep Mountain, we will go to the hotel in Chiang Mai.
