The Gargano national park, alberobello and Matera

8 days

Trip Snapshot

A must for the Orient since the Roman Empire, the region of Puglia has absorbed the best of cultures. Today it is reflected in the diversity of its local heritage, in the generosity of its inhabitants and in their tremendous capacity to welcome you as if you were one of them! Here is a nice itinerant trek to discover the best of Gargano: varied landscapes, between sea and mountains, villages with narrow alleys, quality accommodation, typical gastronomy up to its reputation ... Everything is there! You arrive in Bari and are transferred to Vieste, a village built on a tongue of land which advances into the sea, which you will discover by traversing the dozens of alleys which all lead towards the sea. You will do your shopping there before setting off to hike, through hills, forest, scrub, and heavenly beaches. You will also have the opportunity to visit the San Michele sanctuary, the oldest sanctuary in Western Europe dedicated to the Archangel, a famous pilgrimage site and listed as a UNESCO heritage site. During your tour, you will have many possibilities for swimming. Finally, we give you the opportunity to discover Alberobello and Matera, 2 UNESCO listed cities, at the end of the tour.
