Antananarivo to Ambatomanga
This first step takes you to meet a structure of economic and social development managed and created by a couple of Malagasy to help the neediest: the tinsmithing of Dieudonné (crafts). In the end, you set off in the east to discover the historic village of Ambatomanga. Madagascar's landscapes let no traveler indifferent and give way to escape. An afternoon of discoveries and meetings with the manager of the family home: Visit of the village and the cheese factory.

Ambatomanga Sightseeing
A day of walking in this charming countryside that surrounds the village of Ambatomanga. Harivona, your local guide, masters his environment and embellishes this journey with his knowledge. You meet craftsmen (weavers and blacksmiths) who will show the extent of their talents. You also exchange with the farmers during your rural meetings and can better understand the difficulties they face on a daily basis. The evening focused on Malagasy culture.

Ambatomanga to Andasibe
A first stop proposed at the Peyreiras reserve in order to observe more closely: chameleons, butterflies, and snakes. Then it is in the heart of the village of Andasibe that your stage ends, within the association MATOR (Madagascar Rural Tourism). An always warm welcome to introduce you to the association and its actions but also the program of the next few days. It consists of multiple activities that are adapted according to the weather and the work in progress within these families.

Andasibe Sightseeing
In the morning, a visit of Analamazoatra National Park allows you to observe Madagascar's largest lemur as well as chameleons and this exceptional flora. During the afternoon, you live the daily life of these families whose activities are mainly oriented towards agriculture and household chores: working in the fields, shopping at the market, cooking, roasting and pounding coffee. Lunches are made in the company of your guests and are composed of Malagasy dishes. Evening traditional songs and dances.

Andasibe to Vohimana
One last breakfast with these peasant women before heading to the small village of Ambavaniasy. Visit the distillery then walk 45 minutes (with porters) to get closer to the private reserve of Vohimana. This site is located on the edge of a protected forest teeming with natural flora and fauna. It is a free afternoon that we offer you in order to make the most of the site. At nightfall, a small guided walk takes place before dinner to observe the nightlife of this forest.

During the morning, you go to meet the villagers and the spiritual representative of these souls. Exchanges and sharing about their way of life, their agricultural crops, and the methods of building homes. Lunch at the lodge. Vohimana to Pangalanes Chanel
You leave the Vohimana reserve and reach the village of Manambato after taking the Rn2 and the 7km of the truck to Lake Rasoabe where your boat awaits you. Then, navigation between lakes and the channel of the Pangalanes in a peaceful atmosphere and adapted to contemplation. At your arrival, a visit to the village of Andranokoditra is offered before joining your local ecolodge created by Nolah and Nini in an exotic atmosphere.

Pangalanes Chanel Sightseeing
It is by boat ride along the Pangalanes Channel and the shores of the lake Ampitabe that you start your morning. This is a visit to a village on the channel heights with your local guide. (Coffee trees, fruit trees, and rice fields). Lunch is at Nolah and Nini's after your return. During the afternoon, the meeting with the craftswomen of the village is proposed to go in search of raw materials before the workshop of the basket and making fish pods. Traditional songs and dances in the evening.

Pangalanes Channel to Mahambo
Attending the departure of fishermen on the Indian Ocean remains an emotionally strong moment, especially in winter due to the power of the waves. Then, enjoy your last hours of sailing on the Pangalanes channel to the city of Tamatave where you have lunch. A 04 hours drive later, you reach the charming fishing village of Mahambo. Mahambo to Ste Marie Island (Nosy Boraha )
The first hours of the day are free and allow you to swim in the lagoon before boarding the boat to the island of St. Marie.
