Visit to the Larco Herrera Museum, one of the largest private collections of pre-Columbian art in Peru. The exhibition rooms showcase pottery, textiles, mummies and other objects that will give you a greater understanding of Peruvian history. Then direction downtown Lima to explore the colonial quarters of the city center via the Plaza San Martin and the Plaza de Armas. Visit of the San Francisco Convent and its catacombs. Cocachimba - Gocta
Free day at the Gocta Lodge. Suggestion: Departure by foot in full autonomy to the catarata of Gocta, one of the highest in the world with 771 m height. You can observe an amazing flora (bromeliads, orchids, giant ferns, palms) and a very rich fauna (monkeys, toucans, parots). Walking time: 4-5 hours round trip. Note 1: Possibility of contracting the services of a muleteer directly on site. (about 40 soles) Note 2: An entrance fee of about 10 soles to be paid in situ for the cooperative of the small village of Cocachimba. Included: room & breakfast

Cocachimba - Kuelap- Revash- Leymebamba
In the early morning, departure from Cocachimba by private vehicle towards the fortress of Kuelap, famous archaeological site chachapoya with walls of 600 m long and 20 m high. It is the best known prehispanic heritage in the region, but also the most imposing. The archaeological site consists of several sectors such as the Malca, the Fortress and the Barreta, of which stands out more particularly the Fortress that you visit, built around 500 ap. AD, and located at 3000 m of altitude on a plateau that dominates the valley of Utcubamba. A unique atmosphere reigns in the alleys of this citadel still enveloped by tropical vegetation. Continue to the village of San Bartolo where the walk will begin to reach the site of Revash. This chachapoya funeral complex consists of 1, 2 and 3-storey mausoleums (chullpas), decorated with numerous ocher-red paintings. An almost mystical atmosphere emerges from this little "village of the dead". Walking time: 1 hour (round trip). Continuation by private transport to Leymebamba.

Leymebamba- Celendin- Cajamarca
In the morning, visit the museum of Leymebamba which houses more than 2000 archaeological pieces including the 220 mummies discovered in the mausoleums of the Condors lagoon. The museum is also characterized by the presence of a nursery of orchids and endemic plants. Then, departure by private vehicle to Cajamarca. On the way, you pass through Celendin, famous for making straw hats. Continue to Cajamarca and arrive at the hotel. Cajamarca- Cumbe Mayo- Otuzco- Cajamarca
Day dedicated to the visit of Cajamarca and its surroundings. In the morning, we go to the Cumbe Mayo site with its "forest of stones", also known for its several kilometer aqueduct carved in the rock at more than 3500m of altitude with its enigmatic cross and its cave covered with petroglyphs. Continuation to the "Ventanillas de Otuzco", pre-Inca funeral niches dug in the rock. In the afternoon, visit the famous "ransom chamber", a room where Atahualpa was imprisoned before the fall of the Inca Empire, the only remaining remnant of this period. Stroll through the city, passing through the central square, the Belen Church, the Archaeological Museum and the Cathedral. Cajamarca- Chiclayo
Departure by private vehicle to Chiclayo (about 6 hours drive). On the way private visit of Kuntur Wasi, an imposing archaeological site that was occupied since 1000 BC and where several cultures followed one another. It contains an admirable ceremonial complex formed by superimposed platforms on top of which stand the remains of a pyramidal temple. There are also monoliths representing half-male, half-feline characters. It is on the site of Kuntur Wasi that seven tombs of elite figures have been found, accompanied by fine ceramics, stone and shell ornaments and gold objects. After a walk through the archaeological site, visit the site museum (closed on Mondays), where the gold pieces discovered are on display. Continuation to Chiclayo, transfer to the hotel. Chiclayo- Huaca Rajada- Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum- Tucume- Chiclayo
Day dedicated to the visit of the sites around Chiclayo, an essentially archaeological destination. In the morning, excursion to the impressive necropolis of Huaca Rajada, funeral center of the Mochica culture where many tombs have been discovered, notably that of the lord of Sipan, character of the elite Moche. Visit the museum site. In the afternoon, visit the Tumbas Reales Museum (closed on Mondays), which has an interesting collection of jewels found on tombs. Continuation by visiting the archaeological complex of Túcume, "the Valley of the Pyramids" of the culture Lambayeque, 40 minutes from Chiclayo. Possibility to climb to the mirador, where you see the forest of Pomac. Transfer to the hotel. Chiclayo- El Brujo- Trujillo
Panoramical visit of the centre of Chiclayo: the Cathedral, the Palacio Municipal and the Medicinal Herbs Market. Stop in front of the stalls of herbalists and "brujos" healers, loaded with dried plants, bones, animal organs and other healing powers. They are used by shamans during healing ceremonies. Departure in a private vehicle for the city of Trujillo. On the way we will visit El Brujo, an archaeological site from the Mochica culture that has colorful frescos. In 2006 archaeologists found the tomb of a female governor, who has been called “the lady of Cao”, here. Visit of the museum and then we continue the journey to Trujillo. Trujillo- Huacas de la luna- Chan Chan- Huanchaco- Trujillo
Day trip to visit the main archaeological sites around Trujillo. Departure towards the Moches temples to visit the temple of the moon (Huaca de la Luna), religious center of the Mochica culture built during the 5th century. After visiting the museum dedicated to the site, you will observe the impressive murals of the temple. At 1:30 p.m., you will attend a show of Peruvian paso horses, accompanied by a demonstration of the "marinera", a dance originating from the coast of Peru. In the afternoon, departure for the site of Chan Chan, ancient capital of the Chimu empire (13th century) built in adobe and visit the Nik-An palace. The Chan (earth) city of Chan Chan was built between 850 and 1470 AD and was an imperial capital until its conquest by the Inca Empire in the fifteenth century. At the end of the day, head for the fishing village of Huanchaco. Possibility of observing the fishermen and their traditional embracements, the "Caballitos de Totora", built with reeds. Trujillo- Lima
Half day dedicated to the visit of downtown Trujillo, the city of "eternal spring", including the main touristic sights: the main square, Pizarro street, Plaza El Recreo, Urquiaga house, the church of La Merced, Iturregui Palace, Emancipación house and the cathedral. Note: Visit of the city of Trujillo is not possible on Sunday afternoon. Transfer to the airport of Trujillo. Domestic flight to Lima. Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. In the early evening, departure for a night visit of the Huaca Pucllana, an administrative and ceremonial center built in adobe and occupied between the 200s and 1400s by the Lima, Wari and Ychsma cultures. Enjoy an exceptional atmosphere thanks to the system of illuminations. Note: Night visits take place from Wednesday to Sunday.
