Asmara - Keren
We start the day with city tour and explore the capital city. Visiting The tank grave yard, remnants from the war between Eritrea and Ethiopia from 1961-1991, The Eritrea Musem, Villa Roma built circa 1907. We leave Asmara in the evening and heading down to Keren. Keren is the second largest city, situated at 91 kilometers to north west of Asmara takes a gradual decent to an altitude of 1390 meters.

Keren - Massawa
The day starts visiting the famous Mariam Dearit temple curved out from a Baobab tree . Keren is well known for the fiercest battles that went on between the Common wealth and the Italian forces in 1941. The fall of Keren in the hands of the Common Wealth advancing army signaled the end of Italian occupation in Eritrea. Visitors will also visit the Italian and Common Wealth war cemeteries. In the evening ours we leave Keren and heading to Massawa.

Massawa city tour
Visitors will visit most interesting and unusual places in Massawa. Massawa enjoys a combination of Turkish and Italian Architects, an apparent indication of the Ottoman and Italian colonial history. There is, among others, an old Turkish Palace and the Modern Port built by the Titians at the turn of the 20th Century. A great attraction to many visitors.

Massawa - Asmara
Start early in the morning, 10 minutes boat trip to Green Island, the most accessible island from Massawa consisting of beach and mangrove swamp. In the afternoon drive uphill while enjoying the magnificent scenery and lush vegetation all the way to Asmara, as time allows with stops on the way at interesting sites and encounters with the local people. Transfer to airport for departure.
