Palermo is the regional capital of Sicily, on the southern tip of Italy's "boot." It sits on the Gulf of Palermo in the Tyrrhenian Sea. Palermo is famous for its colorful history, beautiful architecture, vibrant culture, nightlife, music, and cuisine. place FULL DAY TRIP TO SEGESTA AND ERICE WITH PRIVATE CAR AND GUIDE

Depart from Palermo in the morning for a full-day excursion to Segesta and Erice.  Start in Segesta, an archaeological complex located an hour away from Palermo. The first thing you'll notice when you arrive in

Segesta is the 2400-year-old Greek temple, which stands alone on its pedestal hill.  Nearby you can see the medieval ruins and the ancient Agora, but the next highlight is further up on the hill—the theater, which dates to

the 3rd century BCE. Behind the stage, you'll find an incredible panorama of hills and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Afterward, transfer to Erice, a medieval city famous for its narrow winding streets, medieval arches, and

decorated courtyards. Enter the old city by the Porta Trapani, then walk to the historic city center to reach the 14th-century Duomo, which houses marble sculptures, and the next-door bell tower. Climb the 110 steps to the

top for a view of the city. From here, follow the old city walls for a panoramic viewpoint, then explore the city's Spanish neighborhood, as well as the Church of San Giovanni Battista, Castello di Venere, and the 19thcentury

Torretta Pepoli. The Castello is a 12th-century Norman defensive fortress that houses ruins of a Roman spa and a temple. Make your way back to the city gate, pausing at the Piazza Umberto I to see the ornate palazzi

and Museo Antonio Cordici, which displays traditional crafts and traditional crafts and trades.

Day 4

place PRIVATE TRANSFER FROM PALERMO TO AGRIGENTO- VISIT VALLEY OF THE TEMPLES

After a leisurely breakfast, meet your private driver in the lobby of your hotel and head off to Agrigento, a hilltop city on Sicily's southwestern shore. After a 2-hour drive, check in to your hotel and set out to explore your

surroundings. Stroll through Agrigento's densely packed historical core, finding your way to Via Atenea, the main thoroughfare lined with shops, restaurants, and bars. Leading off Via Atenea, you'll climb your way upwards

through a maze of cobblestoned narrow alleys and side streets past 18th and 19th-century palazzi (noble homes or mansions). In the early afternoon, meet your guide for 2 2-hour visit of the Valley of temples, so named

for its well-preserved ancient Greek temples. You will meet with a licensed guide to walk through the ancient city of Akragas, as Agrigento was once called, with the option to spend a little time at the popular archaeological

museum. Stop to marvel at the temples of Hera (Juno), Concordia (an imposing intact gem), and Herakles as you listen to your expert guide share stories that bring the ruins to life. You'll discover that the so-called valley is

actually a plateau, and learn how these ridgetop temples once served as beacons for homecoming sailors. After the tour, you'll have the rest of the day to spend as you like.

Day 5

place PRIVATE TRANSFER FROM AGRIGENTO TO SIRACUSA STOP IN PIAZZA ARMERINA

Say goodbye to Agrigento and the highlight of the day, though, will be the next stop at Piazza Armerina and the stunning Roman Villa del Casale. This is, without doubt, the finest Roman remains in Sicily and has the most

amazing collection of polychrome mosaics to be seen anywhere. What makes them so incredible is that they are not in a museum but in situ, as they were laid. There are hunting and more exotic mythical scenes

, and the floors and walls are covered. Most remarkable of all are the scenes in the gymnasium, which could grace any modern gym, with girls in bikinis, exercising and playing ball! The villa consists of 40 rooms in all.

Enjoy a 2-hour tour with your local Expert English-speaking guide. After the tour, continue to your hotel in Syracuse

anywhere and for centuries it was the center of Syracusan life. The site also served as a stone quarry and a church, see the vast chambers dug out of the rock including the ‘Dionyssos’ Ear,’ a cave with amazing acoustic

qualities. A visit is completed with the Roman Theatre, a venue for entertainment over the Greek Theatre, which served a religious purpose. Afterward, you'll have the afternoon free. Lose yourself in Syracuse's winding streets

and discover hidden gems like the late 19th-century Palazzo Impellizzeri, done in the indulgent Rococo style. There's also the Temple of Apollo in Piazza Pancali, and the underground San Giovanni Crypt and Catacombs,
