You leave Antananarivo to explore the national road 7 after visiting the tinsmithing of Dieudonné. You arrive in Antsirabe at the end of the morning,whose name means "where there is a lot of salt", where the baths are always accessible to the public. Trekkin Ibity massif
A beautiful day of trekking in the heart of this New Aire Protected Mineral which begins with the crossing of the rice plain of Manandona. Then, you swallow the 800m of vertical drop by the eastern slopes of this magnificent massif. Geology enthusiasts are delighted because many stones of all origins dot the path. The view at the top offers a 360oC allowing a complete landscape reading. The redescent is done quietly on narrow and stony paths before reaching the grassy plateau below. Manandona - Ambalavao
A day of connection to the city of Fianarantsoa, capital of the country Betsileo. But before that, you are offered a stop in Ambositra to meet the craftsmen and scorers. Arriving in Fianarantsoa, a visit to the studio of photographer Pierrot Men offers some nice surprises. Fianarantsoa is a city steeped in history but you just pass by before you reach Ambalavao where you stay in a hotel room located in front of the Andringitra massif and away from the city. Ambalavao - Andringitra National Park
Requirement to complete 03:30 4x4 track to reach the entrance to Andringitra National Park. You find your guide and his porters to start this beautiful first day of hiking in the heart of the park. Start of the walk towards the waterfalls of the massif. The access to the Andriampotsy base located at 2050m is a varied route composed of steps, undergrowth and plain at the end of the route that bring you closer to the granite walls of the massif. The bivouac is ideally chosen and offers you the opportunity to bathe in natural squalls. Diner and overnight stays in a tent.

Andringitra National Park
Departure very early (around 5a.m.) to climb The Boby Peak, Madagascar's second highest peak! A day's walk in the middle of this mineral and granitic atmosphere where the endemic flora flourishes. This descent, composed of stone slabs and pelouses is very pleasant because of its diversity. You leave this place called Diavolana to reach the camp Iantaranomby, located on the edge of a stream 1600m from where you see the valley and the peaks of the Tsaranoro. Diner and overnight stays in a tent.

Andringitra - Tsaranoro valley
You leave the national park at the beginning of the day to reach the Tsaranoro Valley. A beautiful descent in front of the walls of this massif before reaching the village of Morarano. Then, the ascent of Mount Chameleon remains relatively difficult but allows you to have an overview of the Andringitra massif and the peaks that border the valley. When redescent, it is not uncommon to observe a few lemurs subservient to the sacred forest you pass through. You arrive at the ecolodge in the afternoon for a well-deserved rest against the Tsaranoro. Diner and overnight at the hotel.

Tsarasoa valley
At the start of the Tsarasoa, the grand tour of the Tsaranoro passes at the foot of the fabulous 800m walls before bypassing the massif from the south to reach the top of Karambony. Then, descend north on an aerial ridge and cliff edge. Extraordinary Rando, to which one can add an ascent of the Tsaranoro (1950m) by the normal route on the way. If the first part is obvious enough, the second part is a little more technical to negotiate the large granite slabs. The technical and aerial descent of the Karambony ridges remains an exceptional moment. Diner and overnight at the hotel.

Tsarasoa - Ranohira
The landscapes of the great Malagasy Sud and the granite walls of the Andringitra massif make up these first kilometers that lead you towards the plains of the Ihorombe. But before that, a short walk in the Community Reserve Anja, place of refuge of Catta lemurs. The eastern foothills of the Isalo massif loom on the horizon as the town of Ranohira approaches in the afternoon, when, a few kilometres further south, your charming hotel has established itself. A day of hiking in the Isalo National Park so often dubbed "the Malagasy Colorado". It is a ruiniform massif of yellow sandstone where coexist, rock vegetation (Aloe, Euphorbes, Pachypodium ...) and wildlife in large numbers (lemurs, chameleons, birds and rock reptiles). Throughout the day the landscapes are varied and varied: natural swimming pool, canyons, desert spaces. The time to return to the hotel takes into account your walking pace and your curiosity. Ranohira - Sarodrano
Enjoy the idyllic setting of your hotel in the morning before heading to thegreat desertplains to the west of Isalo National Park. Before you catch a glimpse of the banks of the Mozambique Canal and the city of Ranohira, your first baobabs appear not far from Table Mountain. Then, 45 minutes of track in the middle of xerophilic vegetation and giant Pachypodium accompany you to the Eden Ecolodge residence located on the banks of the Mozambique Canal. Diner and overnight at the hotel.

Several excursions are possible including this one: hiking to reach the overlooking viewpoint Sarodrano, the Mozambique Canal and the mouth of the Onilahy River before descending towards the village of St Augustine. Then canoe in the mangroves with observation of colonies of pink flamingos and marsh poultry fauna before reaching the rather unexpected picnic spot. At the end of the day, you return to your vehicle in St Augustine and join your hotel. Diner and overnight at the hotel.
