Trekking to Aksu peak

11 days

Trip Snapshot

The Aksu Peak (5355 m) trek in Kyrgyzstan is a most beautiful trekking trip in the world of majestic mountains of the Pamir-Alai. This region of the Turkestan Range is famous for its mind-blowing landscapes reminiscent of South American Patagonia, with the difference that the climate in Central Asia is warmer, more stable and better for long hikes. Young high mountains, whimsical juniper forests, rapid streams and imposing rock faces, vast expanses and fresh winds carrying the scent of pine, green meadows and remoteness from civilization – this wonderful picture is painted by the world’s best artist, Nature. The guided backpacking trip will culminate at the foot of the grandiose rocky peak of Aksu, the highest summit in the region, with its north face rising vertically into the sky for more than 1500 m above the surrounding area and amazing in its scale! Accompanying the group is a support team, including a guide, a cook, cooking assistants, and laborers who will take care of all the cooking and setting up of the tent camps. All personal belongings and equipment are carried on horses during the trek. Our guests travel light, enjoying the views and relax. We invite you to an unforgettable trekking to the Aksu peak!
