Arrival and assistance at La Aurora International Airport. Private Transfer to the colonial city of Antigua Guatemala, for accommodation.

Day 2

place Antigua / Pacaya Volcano / Antigua

Free time in Antigua to discover this calm and beautiful city. Free lunch (not included). In the afternoon, transfer to the Pacaya volcano to start a hike that will allows us to see the lava rivers, the smoking, and the hot spots left after an eruption. Beautiful sunsets will wait for you at the top of the volcano while you enjoy a pizza cooked in a lava oven. After the adventure, return to Antigua. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

place Antigua / Cloud Forest Reserve / Lanquin

Breakfast. Early transfer to reach the incredible region of Las Verapaces. We will stop at a private reserve to seek for the Quetzal, Guatemala's national bird. Hike in the middle of this beautiful cloud forest reserve. Then transfer to Lanquin a picturesque village nearby the natural paradise of Semuc Shampey. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 4

Breakfast. Today you will explore one of the most stunning natural features in Guatemala. Located deep in the forest you will discover a series of swimmable, turquoise pools, caves waterfalls, and breathtaking views. The complete tours include a walk-through rock-strewn road however the difficulty for the arrival is regarded for the stunning views and the contact with nature. Local lunch included. After lunch, you will be able to continue enjoying the place and take a relaxing swim in the limestone pools. In the indicated time, we will take you take to your hotel to rest.

place Lanquin / Candelaria

Breakfast. We drive to reach the Candelaria caves, considered one of the largest caves of Central America. Located in the mountains in northern Alta Verapaz, those caves are a sacred passage to the underworld for the Mayas. Tubing excursion. Plop on a tube and float through the underworld and discover those incredible caves. Free lunch (not included) After the visit you can rest at the hotel located nearby the caves

Day 6

place Candelaria / Crater Azul / Tikal

Breakfast. Transfer to the little town of Sayaxche located on the border of the river Rio La Pasion. One hour boat excursion to reach the aquatic garden with crystal water. Snorkeling and time to relax the Crater Azul (Blue Crater). Box lunch included. After exploring the place, boat back to Sayaxche and road towards Tikal, one the most important archeological site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site and natural reserve.

Day 7

place Tikal Excursion

Early wake up for this incredible the journey. You will walk in the jungle at dawn to reach the Temple IV where you will be able to listen the first sounds of the jungle wildlife and to observe the sunrise. Snack on the top of the temple. Located in the middle of a jungle, with spectacular Mayan temples of the classic period. During the walk within Tikal, you will see some of the most beautiful trees in the world, and more than 300 species of birds, monkeys, jaguars, and other animals. This magnificent site was listed by UNESCO as Cultural and Natural Heritage of Humanity and is a testimony to the greatness and significance of the Mayan Civilization. With more than 576 square km is considered the largest archaeologically excavated site on the American continent. Back to the hotel for a local lunch (drinks not included). Time to rest in the middle of the jungle and ancient temples. Night in the jungle.
