Day 2

place Rio de Janeiro Day Tour

Today, you will embark on an exciting day of sightseeing in Rio de Janeiro, visiting: Sugar Loaf: the famous Sugar Loaf cable car is the most used to reach the top of that mountain of 1296 m above sea level. The Hill offers a 360-degree view, where you can enjoy the beautiful rainforest, beaches and a part of the great metropolis. Christ the Redeemer: one of the postcards of the Wonderful City. The Christ Redeemer, with its 98 ft high, is located on the Hill of Corcovado Mountain in the Tijuca Rainforest. It is there, with his arms wide, that he welcomes all those who arrive in this town. Favela: the favelas (slums), with its colorful little houses embedded in the hills, are a part of the beautiful surroundings. A visit to one of these “favelas” allows the visitor the contact with humble, happy and privileged people – for the view they have of the wonderful city. In addition, it is possible to meet the work developed by various ONGs in those communities.

place Flight to Iguazu

Morning free in Rio de Janeiro. At the schedule time, private transfer to the airport. Flight to Iguassu Falls. Private reception and transfer to the Hotel.

Day 5

place Iguazu National Park - Argentina Side and the Bird Park on the Brazilian Side

Today you will embark on an amazing day of sightseeing in Foz do Iguaçu – Argentine side: Transfer to the Argentine side. Once in the Argentine National Park, board a train that has as destination the “Garganta del Diablo”, where a 1,200-meter walkway will lead you to an impressive view of the Devil’s Throat. After enjoying the scenery, board again on the train until the first station to start a walk of 3.2 km (upper and lower circuit) through the footpaths and walkways that provide a different and more complete view of the Falls. Bird Park: located in front of the Iguazu National Park, on the Brazilian side. More than 900 birds from 180 different species live in the Park, which has 17 hectares of native vegetation.

Day 6

place Iguazu National Park - Brazilian Side and flight to Manaus

Today, enjoy these visits in Iguaçu – Brazilian side: Iguaçu National Park: it is one of the most beautiful natural parks in the world, with 275 waterfalls. These occupy a 3 km extension on the border between Brazil and Argentina. On the Brazilian Side, the ride lasts 2 to 4 hours. This side will give you the best panoramic view of the Falls, replete with waterfalls that reach approximately 80 meters high. Transfer to Iguaçu Airport for your flight to Manaus. Private reception and transfer to the Hotel.

Day 7

place Welcome to the Jungle!

Transfer to the Lodge. During the journey, you will be able to enjoy these different activities (depending on the Lodge): Meeting of the Waters: a unique phenomenon in the world, where the rivers Negro and Solimões meet but don't mix, reaching a distance of more than 10 km. Observation of nocturnal animals: at night, the silence makes it possible to listen to the different sounds of the forest. The main attraction is the “capture” of caimans.

Day 8

place Discovering the Amazon

Today you will have a day full of exciting activities such as: Jungle Walk accompanied by a specialized guide, where you can appreciate all the beauty and feel the energy of the Amazon rainforest. Tour in motorized canoe for Piranha fishing. Observation of the Amazon sunset.

Day 9

place Last day in the Jungle

Enjoy your last day in the Jungle taking part in these activities: Ride in canoe paddle for birding and pink dolphins' observation. Output in motorized canoe to visit the native’s house where you can learn a little about their culture and customs. Output to overnight in the jungle: during the walk to the point chosen for the camp will be taught theoretical survival instructions, how to get water, food, first aid, etc. Overnight stay in hammocks with mosquito nets.

place Salvador Day Tour

Enjoy a day of sightseeing in the city of Salvador: Visit of the “Upper Town”: walking through the city center through the streets and alleys of the famous Pelourinho historic district, listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site and considered as the largest collection of colonial architecture from the 17th and 18th centuries still existing. That’s where you will find the Church of São Francisco, considered the country’s richest Baroque work. Visit of the “Lower Town”: coastal area of the city of Salvador, linked to “Uper Town” by the Lacerda Elevator. Here one can visit the Church of Senhor do Bonfim – one of the symbols of religious syncretism in the city – and the Mercado Modelo, a traditional craft center.

Feel free and take your time to spend a free day on your own in Salvador. Visit options (not included): Praia do Forte: visit the Tamar Project – one of the most visited centers of the world, due to his biodiversity. In an area of 10,000 square meters, you can see 4 of 5 species of sea turtles in different stages of the life cycle. If your journey takes place between the months of July and October and depending on weather conditions, it is recommended to visit the Humpback Whale Institute.
