Today you’ll take a half day trip to Cu Chi tunnels and explore the complex maze of tunnels built during the U.S.-Vietnam War. The afternoon is free or arranging a trip upon request to the Water Park, History Museum or the magical and whimsical Dam Lotus Park. Overnight in HCMC. At its height, the Cu Chi tunnel system stretched over 250km. from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens.
