The Domaine des Hautes Collines is at the foot of the village of Saint-Jeannet at 400 m altitude it has belonged for several generations to the Rasse family, people really in love and passionate about the history of wine. They cultivate on their properties more than 20 different grape varieties, notably Merlot, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Gamay too, for freshness. (12 € per person for wine tasting at Domaine des Hautes Collines.) Lunch in St Paul de Vence: After soaking up Domaine des Hautes Collines relaxing atmosphere and taking your time to taste their wine, we will introduce you to St Paul de Vence one of the most beautiful villages in France, where you may order a tasty meal at a local restaurant (meal not included), followed by a stroll through the medieval streets of the village to help you digest. The Domaine de la Source is one of the smallest vineyards in France, with 7 hectares of vines nestled on the hillsides of Nice, grown in organic farming and with respect for the environment. All wines are certified organic: there are no pesticides or chemical fertilizers and in biodynamic cultivation. The wine from Domaine de la Source is much appreciated by some of the best starred restaurants in the region.
