Arrival in Montreal and check in at your hotel in the city. Depending on your timing, start taking your cues. Newly arrived in the city, the gourmet markets where you can find culinary counters of the best restaurants in the metropolis are a great way to start your city trek! At Time Out, Central or Cathcart and Biergarten, try delicious local and international dishes in a friendly atmosphere where you will already have the opportunity to share great tables with the locals!

The Plateau and the Mount Royal
1st day of exploration of the city. There’s nothing better than starting it with a tour of the charming Plateau Mont-Royal neighborhood with a Montreal guide! You will first be welcomed home for a good breakfast, local immersion guaranteed, and then take the path of the residential alleys of the neighborhood, meet his little favorite traders, you will marvel at the famous spiral staircases that adorn the colorful streets … Then, you will have several choices. You could reach mount Royal Mountain for a nature immersion on a walk that will take you to the top of a magnificent lookout with stunning views of the city and the river, sportsmen can rent skates, snowshoes or cross-country skiing. Alternatively, opt for an original guided tour in electric fatbike through a few alleys and murals of the Plateau to the top of the mountain. Another alternative is the discovery at your own pace of the hipster Mile-End, with its small local shops, café, bars and trendy restaurants, from Outremont the quiet, to the oping houses in beautiful tree-lined streets, from Little Italy with its famous Jean-Talon market and its good addresses of authentic pizzerias and cafés. In the evening, as you like, meet the locals and push the door of a bar to watch a Montreal Canadiens hockey game or play board games over a drink at the playful Randolph pub, in the heart of the friendly Rosemont district, a very popular activity in winter! Unusual and fun, very local color, try throwing axes! Wake up the lumberjack in you and test your talent on a wooden target, laughter and unwinding guaranteed! A unique multimedia experience, Aura invites you to the heart of Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal for an immersive, luminous and orchestral show that will surprise you. In the evening, hop aboard the Ferris wheel for another beautiful view of the city and then decide to follow the walking route of Cité-Mémoire to discover more about the history of Montreal through twenty paintings projected on the walls of some buildings of the Old Port and whose music and lyrics will be delivered to you via a free app on your phone. The area is full of good tables, but sit down at the counter of the “Un Po Di Piu” to enjoy a few bites or share small dishes in an Italian drinking atmosphere!
