At Denpasar Airport, meet your guide in the International Arrivals Hall, where they will hold a sign displaying your name. Continue by comfortable private transfer to Ubud. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

Ubud is located in Gianyar Regency, Bali.

Enjoy a leisurely morning at your own pace in Ubud. Relax, explore nearby cafés and boutiques, or take in the peaceful atmosphere of Bali’s cultural heart. In the afternoon, begin at the picturesque Tegalalang Rice Terraces, where green rice paddies and the traditional subak irrigation system have shaped the landscape for centuries.

Continue to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, home to hundreds of playful long-tailed macaques and ancient temples within a tropical forest. End the day at vibrant Ubud Market, browsing local handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs while experiencing the lively atmosphere of one of Bali’s best-known cultural centers.

Bali’s subak system is supported by farmer-managed cooperatives that coordinate irrigation.

Day 3

place Day 3: Ayung River Rafting Adventure includes return transfers (shared basis)

Begin with breakfast before preparing for an exhilarating rafting adventure through Bali’s tropical landscape. Your driver collects you for a shared transfer to the starting point in Payangan, north of Ubud. After a safety briefing and equipment fitting, walk approximately 500 steps down to the river and set off with an experienced rafting guide.

Navigate Grade II and III rapids while passing concealed waterfalls, dramatic river gorges, and dense rainforest. The scenic ride suits beginners and adventure seekers alike. At the finish, climb approximately 200 to 250 steps, then take a short walk to the Kedewatan base camp for a hot shower. Enjoy lunch before your shared return transfer.

Bali’s rivers are closely connected to the island’s traditional rice irrigation networks.

Begin with a comfortable shared car transfer from Ubud to Padang Bai. This coastal village in East Bali is known for its harbor and tranquil surroundings. From Padang Bai, board a shared fast boat and cross the Lombok Strait toward Gili Trawangan.

Arrive on the largest and liveliest of the three Gili Islands, known for white sandy beaches, clear waters, and a relaxed atmosphere. Continue approximately 300 to 400 meters from the harbor. Motorized vehicles are not permitted, so you can walk or take a traditional horse-drawn cidomo for an additional cost.

Sasak culture forms an important part of the cultural identity of Lombok and the Gili Islands.

In the evening, take the opportunity to watch the sunset over Bali. Afterward, settle in for a leisurely dinner by the sea at your own personal expense, bringing your unhurried day on Gili Trawangan to a close.

Gili Trawangan’s local culture reflects strong Sasak influences from neighboring Lombok.

Spend another day enjoying Gili Trawangan at your own pace. Circle the island by bicycle in under two hours, stopping for a swim at one of its quieter beaches. You can also arrange an optional snorkeling or diving excursion to explore the vibrant reefs surrounding the Gili Islands.

The island’s easygoing atmosphere makes it simple to slow down and enjoy the day, whether you prefer relaxation or additional adventure. In the evening, visit one of the beachfront restaurants serving fresh seafood in a relaxed setting as Gili Trawangan comes alive.

Sasak is widely spoken on Lombok and influences the cultural identity of the nearby Gili Islands.

After breakfast, take the short crossing from Gili Trawangan to Teluk Kode on Lombok by private local boat. On arrival at the harbor, meet your driver and continue by private road transfer to Tetebatu, a peaceful village on the southern slopes of Mount Rinjani.

The journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, passing coastal villages, rice fields, and rural countryside before climbing into the cooler highlands. Surrounded by rice terraces, forests, and mountain scenery, Tetebatu offers a refreshing change of pace and insight into everyday life in Lombok.

The Sasak people are Lombok’s largest ethnic group, with village life forming an important part of local culture.

place Day 8: Tetebatu and Sasak Traditions | Guided Walk, Village Lunch, and Local Crafts

Set out this morning on a guided walk through Tetebatu’s picturesque countryside, known for lush rice terraces and traditional rural life. With a local guide, spend approximately 2.5 to 3 hours exploring rice fields, plantations, irrigation canals, and quiet village lanes while learning about daily life in the Sasak community.

Meet your driver after the walk and continue to Pringgasela, where a local family welcomes you for a home-cooked lunch of traditional Sasak dishes. Stroll through the village to learn about hand weaving and watch skilled artisans. Then visit Masbagik’s pottery village and its age-old techniques, followed by Loyok’s bamboo craftsmanship, before returning to Tetebatu.

Sasak is an Austronesian language spoken primarily on Lombok.

Leave Tetebatu’s cool highlands on a private transfer toward South Lombok. Along the way, stop at Benang Setokel Waterfall, where twin cascades flow through a lush tropical forest. Take a short walk to the falls, enjoy the peaceful setting, wade into the shallow pools, and cool off in the refreshing mountain water.

Continue to Kuta Lombok, arriving by afternoon. This relaxed coastal town is known for its beautiful beaches, turquoise bays, and easygoing atmosphere. Spend the remainder of the day settling in and enjoying your surroundings after the journey from the highlands to the coast.

Sasak cultural traditions remain a prominent part of daily life across South Lombok.

Day 11

place Day 11: Lombok to Canggu | Fast Boat via Padang Bai

After breakfast, leave Kuta Lombok by private car transfer along Lombok’s scenic west coast to Senggigi Harbour. Board a shared fast boat for the crossing to Padang Bai on Bali’s east coast. The journey across the Lombok Strait takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on sea and weather conditions.

From Padang Bai, continue by private transfer to Canggu on Bali’s southwest coast. The drive usually takes 2.5 to 3 hours, although southern Bali traffic can affect travel times. On arrival, settle in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure amid Canggu’s black-sand beaches, café culture, boutique shops, and relaxed coastal atmosphere.

Across Bali, banjar serve as neighborhood associations that play a central role in community organization.

You may also choose a spa treatment, unwind at one of the area’s popular beach clubs, or simply enjoy the laid-back coastal atmosphere. As the sun begins to set, find a place at a beachfront café to watch one final Balinese sunset.

The dark sand along Canggu’s coast comes from volcanic minerals.

place Day 13: Farewell Bali | Private Transfer to Ngurah Rai Airport

After breakfast, enjoy some free time before your scheduled private transfer to Ngurah Rai International Airport. Your driver will collect you according to your flight schedule and take you directly to the airport for your departure from Bali.

Traffic in southern Bali can be unpredictable, so allow at least four hours before your flight. This provides time for the road journey, check-in, security screening, and immigration procedures. Selamat jalan, and safe travels as your Indonesian journey concludes.

In Indonesian, selamat jalan is traditionally addressed to the person who is leaving.
