Day 1: Arrival in Athens | City Center Stroll
When you arrive at Athens Airport, your driver will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name. You will be transferred directly from the airport to your hotel in Athens.
After settling in, you can explore the city center of Athens on foot. The city’s most significant classical monuments were constructed around 400 BC, marking its historical heyday. In the periods that followed, including the Byzantine and Turkish eras, Athens declined to a small village before being named the capital of newly independent Greece in 1833. In preparation for the 2004 Olympics, the city’s infrastructure saw major upgrades, including the Metro, trams, ring roads, and viaducts, which helped ease traffic congestion.
Despite these improvements, Athens maintains its lively and sometimes chaotic character, preserving much of its original charm. The coastal area from Piraeus to the old Hellenikon airport has been enhanced with new plantings, viaducts, and pedestrian paths. The Plaka district is increasingly popular, and its restaurant scene is catching up with those in Psyrri, Gazi, and Rouf. You can discover the Anafiotika district at the base of the Acropolis and visit the ancient village that remains within the modern city.
Athens is recognized as one of the world’s oldest cities, with continuous habitation dating back over 3,000 years.
Day 2: Acropolis & Flavors of Athens | Guided Food Tour
Begin your day with an ascent to the Acropolis, climbing to the summit of the sacred rock. Here, you encounter the Parthenon, one of the most significant monuments in world history. You will take part in a guided tour that reveals the scale and heritage of Athens, highlighting the cultural achievements of Greek civilization during the Golden Age.
After your visit to the Acropolis, prepare for a three-hour food tour designed to immerse you in Athenian culinary culture. During this experiential tour in the heart of the city, you will explore authentic neighborhoods and visit local artisans who have refined their recipes over decades. The tour includes stops at specialty food stores sourcing products from across Greece and a walk through the vibrant central food market.
The Parthenon, completed in 438 BC, stands as a symbol of ancient Greek democracy and architectural innovation.

If you decide to visit, you can take photos and admire the Mediterranean landscape from a large metal platform situated on a hilltop above the beach. Several notable sights in this area are accessible by car.
Zakynthos is renowned for its dramatic coastline and is home to the endangered loggerhead sea turtle, which nests on its beaches.

Today you visit Navagio Beach, the most famous beach on Zakynthos and one of the six most photographed beaches in Greece. This beach is only accessible by sea and is known for its striking scale and unique appearance, with millions of small pebbles and vivid blue waters stretching out to the horizon. The shipwreck resting on the shore appears as if it were crafted by an artist.
After exploring the island by land, you will board a cruise to marvel at the Blue Caves. The Blue Caves are a well-known attraction on Zakynthos, consisting of a series of geological formations that create a sequence of caves along the island’s northwest coast. These caves begin just after Agios Nikolaos and extend to Skinari Cape. You can visit the caves either with your own boat or by joining one of the many organized tours available.
