Day 1

place Gorges du Verdon

We will cross the famous village of Grace, capital of the world of perfumes to continue on the famous road Napoleon in direction of the village of Castellane for our first stop. This village invisible from a distance dating from the 16th century is the gateway to the gorges of Verdon, you can stroll in the village or enjoy a cup of coffee next to the river and also see the Provencal market on Wednesday and Sunday. Afterwards, you’ll take a scenic and dramatic road to reach the Verdon Canyon, the longest in Europe and one of the deepest 700 m high, our route will be punctuated by wonderful photos stop, and you will descend to the edge of the gorge, where the river flows in the clear turquoise water of the lake of Sainte-Croix. Then go to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, this Provencal village is famous for being one of the most beautiful in France, crossed by a river, nestled under a rocky cliff. You will have free time to explore Moustiers at your own pace. Discover the earthenware in the many shops and buy some souvenirs before lunch in one of the cafés with terraces. After your meal, you can enjoy a little stop at the lake to take some pictures or put your feet in the water. During the month of June and July, we can extend our tour to visit the beautiful plateau of Valensole, an immense purple sea of fragrant lavender fields that extend as far as the eye can see!
